Discovered your channel today through your warning reactions. Love your takes and emotional response to the music and your support of the band! A respectful suggestion - you and I are their grandparents’ age, and your pretty insistent (across multiple videos) comments about Pau (she’s hot/my future wife/heart hands etc) are super uncomfortable to watch. @@SweenyTV Thought a long time about how to respond. Well, I’m a teacher so I’ll try to help you understand. Young women have one basic response to older men (anyone over about 22) expressing physical or romantic attraction - eeew. And then they have to make a decision. Is this person just gross, or are they also an active threat? If a young women frowns or ignores someone ‘complimenting’ them on their appearance or saying they are attracted to them, that means they find you gross and creepy. If they smile, that means they see you as a threat and need to keep you from getting angry. If you actually are clever enough and/or the young person is naive enough that you bypass those initial responses, that means you are a predator. And saying it’s ‘natural’ or ‘a joke’ is a first step in confirming that diagnosis. We can have ‘natural’ attractions - we get to choose what we do with them. Making young people uncomfortable and afraid is a sad choice. And with young women in the public eye - you can be quite sure that someone in their team has watched every video and read every post about them. Monitoring social media is their job - to discover new opportunities for spreading the word, AND TO FIND DANGERS AND THREATS. Who is a possible stalker or worse - and I have no doubt that those people’s pictures and info are well distributed backstage. Please don’t make others’ lives worse because it satisfies some random urge. Be better.
