The analytical (and for self-criticism) capacity that this song requires is absolutely off the charts. I grew up on the music of the 1970s and '80s, with a healthy dollop of the '60s thrown in retrospectively. I can honestly say that The Warning is the best band both musically and lyrically that I have come across in over 30 years. They are a true one-in-a-generation phenomenon!

He didn’t jump to kill himself. He took a leap of faith. After seeing this video I was reminded of all the times with my son on the bus, the train, in the car, I’m enjoying the view. But my son is glued to his phone. I tell him to look up and enjoy the view. He says, “boring!” A week after I saw this video I was waiting for the bus to take me and my son home from school. He was laughing while texting. I asked him who he was texting. He says, “it’s my friend from school, He’s over there.” He points to the boy texting sitting near him. I said, “OMG! The Warning was right!” He texted his friend, “I knew he was going to say that.” They both laughed and continued texting….

@@SaeedReacts.My tech-savvy son made me proud yesterday. My son and I shared a love of LEGO and we go to a convention every year. He is the youngest to exhibit at the convention. As he grew older he lost interest and stayed in the hotel room with his gadgets. My LEGO project did poorly to attract interest. On the last day my son put together a slide show presentation with his IPad and improved my display of a Blade Runner project, by adding technology. The response and reviews were very positive. I was so proud of him I introduced him as my ‘high-tech assistant’.

About watching the videos over the live performances. Of course these ladies should be seen live, their presence & power live has to be seen to be believed. As a 'new' fan, only just jumped aboard a couple weeks, I want to give props to their video team. With this new album's roll out, I'm extremely impressed w/ their video team's output, their videos POP, giving equal coverage to each sister, highlighting what makes them, them. Dany's presence as the lead singer guitar, Pau's Power & intensity and Ale's ease & smoothness on Bass. I LOVE their video for More as much as their live performance on MTV of the song, that colorful, fun video is a great contrast to that Warning power & grit musically. Evolve's video is a full throttle assault with wonderful quick edits using non traditional shots of the band, different angles and framing. "Sick"s video is different from the others, w/ graphic black and white's punctuated by hot pink, the gals acting girly while singing about things that bely the graphics, death and violence.... Their team has really organized an expert confluence of output that has set up these gals for a really big 2024, rock on ladies! (I started on my journey w/ Haley 12+ years ago when I felt something missing from the decades of radio play music I've gotten bored of. Haley has brought me back to loving live music from talented artists, the Warning has filled that down and dirty, unapologetic, no holds bar Rock and Roll hole I've been missing since the glory days of 70's-90's rock and roll.)

Jinger was recommended related to a Haley posting of all things (not my normal style but amazing stuff - very heavy) And then from there I discovered The Warning just this fall. @@zwhtan people have ‘accused’ me of having influence w/ what Haley does with her career, why she stays away from signing w/ labels, which couldn’t be further from the truth. Haley replies when she wants, I’ve still not heard about access for her upcoming tour. The fact is, I’m a rocker, I started Idol’s season rooting for the rocker of the season until Haley won me over. I’ve loved every genre Haley dabbles in, even jazz (I considered Steely Dan as far jazz as I’d go), but in my heart, I can’t wait for Haley to dive into her rocker upbringing. IF I had ANY influence over Haley, I’d suggest she put out more rock. That’s proof I have zero influence 🤡, I’m just here to enjoy Haley live and to bring what she allows to fans. I would be FLOORED if Haley did a collab with the Warning 🤯 Can you imagine her vocals going full throttle with them? 😃

As sobering and ominous as the content and implications for society and our future are in this song and mv, one can't deny that it's a remarkable achievement for the three young girls (at the time) of The Warning and their Team. It won I believe three awards at film festivals worldwide, Barcelona, Glasgow, LA, New York, etc. One of the lessons of history, as you pointed out, is the inevitable rise and fall of empires. One of the encouraging aspects of that imo is that many of these former empires continue to exist as viable entities today as they adapt and recreate themselves over time. Just knew you would love this! As another person who grew up in the pre smartphone era it still amazes me how sensible and well aware they already were at that age. "We make buildings but what we need are bridges, were stuck within these walls" is probably my favorite line from this song. A couple of years ago here in the Netherlands a company proposed to put screens on the petrol pistols at gas stations so people wouldn't have to reach for their phones out of boredom when pumping gas... Says a lot about our society that many people can't even be entertained by their own thoughts and surroundings for even a few minutes. Normally I would leave a couple of suggestions for your next reaction but since friday it's been reduced to 'Automatic Sun'. Also congratulations on overcoming your addiction, I know what it's like when all you do is crave for your next drink... Keep the tissues ready when you do 'Black Holes'.
