This man's narration deserves some type of award/recognition. I was thinking Nobel Peace Prize . Its literally the best i ever heard. This fight is a monument to the sport. An all time classic. Its not the skill of the man its the will of the man. I remember watching the 2nd fight live. Other than Hagler Herans. Best Damm fight I ever saw. Being from Philly was a big fan of Saad. Man didn't start to fight until he got decked out but he always got back up, Has as much heart and will as any fighter ever stepped in the square circle. It was gonna take a sledge hammer to knock Saad out. Thems was the days. When everyone fought everyone. No holds barred. Knock down drag out battles. Great stuff. Great stuff. Thanks for letting me relive it.

This is one of the reasons boxing will always be my top sport. It gives individuals like these two an opportunity to succeed, rise above their circumstances, to "be somebody". That was probably the greatest era for the Light heavyweight Division: Mathew Saad Muhammad, Alvaro "Yaqui" Lopez, Victor Galindez, John Conteh, Micheal Spinks, Mike Rossman, Dwight Braxton, Marvin Johnson. Packed with men of mettle and fighting 15 round fights. Any other era Yaqui would've won the crown and been the only Mexican LHW champ!
