Brandin Podziemski has gone from an overlooked prospect to a breakout rookie for the Golden State Warriors. Despite being undersized at 6'4", Podziemski makes up for it with his high basketball IQ, relentless hustle and craftiness. He has thrived by doing all the little things - pushing the pace, crashing the boards, making the extra pass. Then you are not a warriors fan and you are not objective with your views. You are forgetting his contributions to several games even those clutch offensive foul draws. And one more thing that you are forgetting, he is just a rook. We shouldn’t be crucifying the boy for one miss, heck even three or more mistakes.

I don't ever see Podziemski being a "star" player in the NBA. He's not enough of a scorer to achieve that status. I don't think he ever will be either. He's a good complementary player but not the type that a team can build around him.

When he can consistently deliver at least 15 pts per game I will say he has arrived. I know he does other things but sometimes he needs to score especially when he blows those layups. He clearly is not elite around the basket.
