Thank you for doing this! Please keep talking with the JWs. I was raised one, so was my husband. During lockdowns - which the JWs were extremely strict on - we started reading the Bible WITHOUT their literature and Gods Word completely changed us. In the end we challenged the elders in our congregation, we wanted them to explain why we call the organization “The Truth” when Jesus said HE is The Truth. We got disfellowshipped but we pleaded with our friends to read the Word without the Watchtower literature…. We lost all the friends we ever knew! Also family members - my father will likely not speak to me again, unless he changes his mind on the Watchtower. My husband and I have a passion for speaking to JWs even though they can be extremely hostile. We will not give up evangelizing them. God bless you brother!!!

My daughter was witnessed to by JW’s while she was in jail; there were no other congregations that reached out to her. She became one, although she was raised in a Trinitarian Christian church. She has since fallen out with them, but not back to Christianity. I have learned a lot through all of this and I do believe JW is a cult. I always welcome them into my home when they come calling, but they do not stay long once I begin to ask questions, then refute their answers with my Bible. The last time, one of the ladies did compliment me on my knowledge of scripture, but she was frowned upon by her companion. I have a heart for the JW’s. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Yes, they say if you read scripture without their Bible studies you will not know the truth but if you read their Bible studies EVEN WITHOUT SCRIPTURE you will find the truth. Their authority is in their Bible studies, not the word of God.

Because they believe their Bible studies are where you get all the answers, and if you only read the Bible then you won’t know the truth. What or how did you wake up, I have neighbors that are still Jehovah's Witnesses's. They always try to teach me. I run circles around them, I'm not bragging. My heart hurts because been my neighbor since I was born. I bought a house a few house up from my parents. We talk all of them time. He asked me a question what I was gonna do when it gets bad. I said revelations, chapter three says the god would feed us if we pray in trust in him. He then turned and looked at me and said where did you get that. I told him, I then asked him how do you not know Bible. This man has been in the faith for sixty years. I'm only forty three. I can pull scriptures in and out of the bible like it's my job. He can not, his great nephew ask his great grandma (that's his great uncle Mom). How come he can show me in the bible grandma and you cannot. I explained to him because they don't read the Bible. They read the watch tower magazine which keeps them indoctrinated. How do you wake them up.

That's my story. Born in and 33 years wasted. 8 years out so far and clearheaded now. I pleaded directly to Jesus crying and screaming alone. I felt the real Holy Spirit enter my body and evil trash coming out. I never knew this feeling. I felt exhausted. I continued this journey for over two years until I felt cleansed, then started reading KJV. I'm not bitter to JW, but wish my sisters and father would speak to me without referring to the org, disfellowshipping, coming back, blah blah. I just want a normal loving family like normal people. I love Jesus. The Way❤

@@legendary5733 God certainly is capable of doing anything. However, He has expressed His will for mankind in the Bible (which He divinely inspired in order to convey His message). The Bible says there is no second chance; God chose to incarnate as a man to show His immense love for us and to suffer *mortal death* so that all who trust in Him would (by His grace alone) receive forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life. Jesus died for our sins committed in this life; it doesn't say that Jesus died to give us a second chance! We die once and then are judged. At the judgment, Jesus separates His sheep from the goats, "And these (goats) shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." (Matt. 25:46). Could God have said He would do it differently? Yes, but He didn't. If you do not believe what Jesus said about the judgment and fate of the goats, you make Jesus out to be a liar. You wrote: "Are babies in hell?" I doubt that there are babies in hell. But innocent babies die every day, whether in childbirth, by abortion, by wars, by murders, etc. No matter why they are physically put to death, I believe that children who have not reached the age of accountability have not committed sins. As for the suggestion that there might be "innocent" older people, there's no such thing: all sin and fall short of God's standard of perfection.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life. Then when Jesus mentions the good "things in not in the Greek", he is talking about the good that results from the faith mention in verse 24.

The last time a JW went to my house for a “Bible study” he tried to argue with me about Jesus. I stopped arguing,because God had given me a word of knowledge about the man in my living room. God told me he had heart failure and when I told the JW, the man’s jaw dropped. He asked me “how did you know that?” And I responded with “Because we are the true disciples, and you are here for us to pray for you to be healed, and to know the real Christ.” The man got up and left the apartment and made an excuse about why he had to go. I don’t know if ever really accepted Jesus into his life or not, but it did scare him. I hope he went home and thought about that. The point is, arguing isn’t going to convince them due to the fact they are indoctrinated. We need the word of God yes and the power of the Holy Spirit to back it up.

@@dirkjensen969 There are 10-20 different mainline denominations, and all though they have their semantic differences, we all agree on a foundation of traditional Christian beliefs that Jesus is Devine and God in human form except for Jahova Wittinesses. They are the only “denomination” that doesn’t believe this and they came much later in history after traditional Christianity. It’s considered a cult.

He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,” That Christ is the visible image of the invisible God and clearly says He existed before all of creation. This confirms the typical trinitarian beliefs. There are many more verses in the New Testament where Jesus equates Himself to God, or is nicknamed “Immanuel” which means God is with us. This is mentioned in Matthew 1:23 and in prophesied by Isaiah in the old covenant in Isaiah 7:14 which says “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” It’s pretty obvious that the Pharisees wanted to kill Jesus because they thought this was “blasphemy.” Anyways the Jahova Witnesses clearly twist what the Bible says to fit their own narrative.

He was free from sin and was the perfect example of the Torah. He taught others to worship EXACTLY how he did, the only difference now is we accept him as the Messiah for our salvation from Sins. My mother is a Jehovah’s witness, and has been all of her life. She’s getting close to the end of her life. I have been trying to witness to her for so long, and I have failed miserably. She is so incredibly spiritually blinded, and it breaks my heart. You did such an incredible job with these witnesses. They are very tender and loving people, but they are very blind and refuse to see. They handle it very well. I pray with all my heart that they will be able to see the truth and save themselves. I felt the Lord put a spirit of supplication on me to Repent. Then I went in to have my labor induced. My baby girl was breach and the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck. I remember hearing my heart monitor flat line and the doctor said, We're losing her! We're losing her! Then I went up to be with the Father and he gave me a choice I could stay if I wanted but if I did my oldest daughter who was 3 @ the time would have no one. The Lord sent me back. Was out six weeks, picked up eight more years for arm robberies. Grew up Catholic, met a Jehovah witness when I was in prison Milhaven institution. Transferred to Kent , British Columbia with him. Studied with the Jehovah witness got baptized as a Jehovah witness. Trying to learn religion through other people instead of doing my own work. Fell away from religion , committed another violent act with a gun, picked up 12 more years in prison. Got out, started roofing, I got very sick. Diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver from all the drugs I didn’t. Yes I was a drug attic for 30 years, heroin cocaine., I got hooked on painkillers. They told me I was dying and the treatment wasn’t working. Always had a fear of God, so I figured I do some good works before I die ? So I volunteered at a church. Picked up a Bible, and I actually read it for myself. Never believing that I was loveable and worth saving in my life? Then I read of Saul in Acts and his character, then when I read in first Timothy, who was before blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious. But I obtain mercy because I did it ignorantly, and in unbelief. The grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love, which is in Christ Jesus, a faithful, saying, and worthy of all acceptance that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners, whom I am chief. I fell to my knees and repented of my life. He healed my liver, gave me a good job a good wife. And made me a new creature. Now I live for his glory and thank him for freeing me, with his grace and mercy. That about sums it up my brother. and in Hebrew 6:4 once you’ve tasted been lightened by the Holy Spirit there’s no turning back this is my life I live to serve now. Have a blessed day. Because God gives to each of us differently. I read and study the scriptures more than most anyone I know. I have completed a degree in theology, a post graduate in ancient languages specialisation and I am working on my masters. I am diligent and faithful. But I can also acknowledge that there are people who have an incredible capacity for knowledge and teaching far beyond my capabilities. And I praise God for it! I have learnt so much from these videos and I consider them a gift that I can access them for free all because of someone else’s hard work. Teaching is a true gift. Not just for the unbelievers but it also helps us as believers to sharpen each other by sharing our gifts. Such a great blessing, not to be taken for granted.

I was given a red book called "revelation, the time is at hand" or something similar. On page 78 there is a picture of Jehovah's celestial throne. There is a picture of baphomet standing on water instead of Jesus. Russel who started it off was a member of the knights templar society. On another page there is the left hand of the devil on one of the angels. Baphomet is who they worship, although most don't know it. My former boss tried converting me from an atheist when i was seriously ill. I ended up debating "elders" after learning their arguments and came back to Jesus. The Holy Spirit was definitely helping me. Thanks be to Jesus!

The crazy part of this conversation is that they’ve changed their doctrine on this topic last year (September Watchtower Study Article 39 paragraphs 13-14). They still hold onto this 2nd chance doctrine but adhere to scriptural understanding that undermines their theology. Somehow they now recognize that the righteous and unrighteous groups are judged by their deeds prior to the resurrection but still allows for an unrighteous person to have a 2nd chance with this weird scroll interpretation. Its truly dangerous and misleads others to believe that they can practice sinning and “fix” it later on during the 1000 year reign. Please pray for these individuals as they are truly deceived.

I see what point you are trying to make. Having a conversation with someone who believes that they have all the answers and nothing will change their minds seems an exercise in futility. One of the realities of human nature is that almost no one is going to change their mind on the basis of one conversation, especially on subjects like deep personal and religious beleifs. It would have to be one heck of a conversation for someone to drop beliefs some have had their entire lives. It would take the right timing when their faith, for whatever reason, is at its lowest point. A perfect storm if you will. Most of the time, the person that can have the most significant impact on your life will have done so already only you did not know it at the time. Change like this is almost always something that occurs over time. Life experience is a real thing, as is consequence. This is why patience is so important. Some people have to learn things the hard way. Showing a person kindness and most importantly patience resonate with people even if it takes years for them to be aware of it. Not many things in life yield immediate results. The story of Jesus as a whole is an example of this itself.

Most Protestants believe Jesus is God, they do not, they have also altered the bible to fit their doctrine and not follow the teachings of Christ. They are quick to provide you with their literature but will not take yours as they deem theirs and only theirs as "truth" even though it contradicts what Jesus taught. Having a discussion with them, it's an exercise in futility, as they always begin and end with you being a sinner and them being above. They are mandated not to read anything that is not provided by them, even their circles of friends can only truly be JWs. They may tolerate you but you will never be allowed into the inner circle. They will invite you to their yearly event of their interpretation of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ but will not even consider attending another of a different denomination as they are righteous. I know there are other protestants that do not believe in the Holy Trinity, but JWs do not believe in Jesus' divinity or the Holy Spirit. If you are a person who is not well educated in scriptures, they will confuse you because their Bible has been made to fit their arguments. Protestantism has caused much harm, some denominations more than others, JWs have created these falsehoods which they manipulate to keep their followers blinded with arrogant ignorance. Just as a person wrote in one of these posts, JWs will cancel you and kick you out of their meetings, using this as a tool to instill fear in those who are questioning their teachings by losing their friends and family. They are truly a sect, they are only nice to you while they are telling you how wrong you are, the moment you show them you know the bible, history, Christ's teachings, and traditions, they will cast you away. Ask them about their history, who founded them, what year, and what is it they are witnesses to. They will shut down and change the subject

You are absolutely right, they misuse Roman 6:23 to imply your own death accounts for your sin and completely disregard the second part that says the gift of God is eternal life. They completely ignore Hebrews 9:27 these folks a terribly deceived. The JW doctrine strips God of his justice so if your don't accept the grace which is only found in Christ according to the JW doctrine the only thing you have to worry about is not being resurrected.
