Okay I can't stop watching this- this may actually be my favorite TMA animatic I've seen. The backgrounds, the bits of animation, the composition, the SONG CHOICE (this one is never leaving my brain), the way the tension builds AGH. This is just SO well done. And it's so underrated! Under 200 likes?? This seriously deserves so much more attention.

Thank you! I've seen a few interpretations where he loses his glasses at the start of season 4 or when he kills Peter in 159 which I like as well, but I personally have always gravitated towards the idea of them breaking during the shattering sound effect at the end of 160. I personally think he would continue wearing them even after he no longer needs them in order to hold onto some semblance of humanity, losing them finally when he fully becomes a "god".

This is incredible, you captured the vibe of the series and the building suspense so well. There are so many sequences and shots I'm obsessed with, like the one moving from Gertrude to Sasha to Leitner to Tim, or the one where he's strung up like a crucifixion, or the ending where the lighter morphs into the tape recorder... and just the way you animated the water, and Jon's hair, and just all of it-- God this is amazing, you should totally be proud of yourself. Great job and also how dare you drag me back into my Magnus phase lol

This is incredible and perfect and so utterly Magnus! In every single frame, the environments, the characters, and the imagery are all so striking and vivid with no thought or creativity spared. I hope that after some well deserved rest, the creator of this masterpiece will compose more TMA animatics because holy hell I am HERE FOR IT

As for future animatics, I have a few ideas (particularly one for The Horror and the Wild by The Amazing Devil) but truth be told I don't think any of them will be made for a while. I put a lot of other art stuff on hold to work on this and now I need to focus on portfolio building haha

I said "holy shit" out loud TWICE bc damn?!! the image of him strung up in webs sticks out the most to me but honestly this whole animatic is so beautiful and thoughtfully done. you KNOW these characters and the vibe needed for each moment, this is so so good

Oh my god this is *stunning.* When there was the first moment where it was cutting back and forth between their hands on the mug and tape recorder and them holding hands I literally gasped and spent the rest of the video with my hands glued to the side of my face. Ahhh thank you so much!! I definitely went a bit insane with that archives room, I was actively counting down until I wouldn't have to draw it anymore lol. As for tumblr, I technically have one but I haven't been on it in over 5 years. Maybe I'll revive it for this though, as I know a lot of the TMA fandom is on there.
