Having see the Waterboys live a few times, I'm really impressed with this small combo, with a really clean sound. I wish I could get a few soundboards from this tour. I miss Thistlethwaite and Wallinger, but Mike is still going forward, so what more could one ask for!

The day I heard A Girl Called Johnny on the radio in the 80's was the day I became a Waterboys fan. My favourite line up had Karl Wallinger (RIP) on keyboards, Anthony Thistlewaite on sax and Roddy Lorimer on trumpet. That line up blew U2 off the stage when they toured with them.
