Kurt made the greatest point about football games. It’s actually impossible to please everyone in terms of gameplay, half of people want slow realistic gameplay, the other half want arcadey fast gameplay. Unfortunately EA did neither and created a piece of trash with goofy animations

They can probably be sued for not putting up proper pack odds. A store pack will say 30% chance for TOTS. But what TOTS!??. They need to have odds shown for each individual player. It’s way too ambiguous and people are spending money while being misled. We know Mbappe is not weighted at 30%, so we need to know the weight before making the choice to open the pack

You could start a petition, and I'd be the first to sign it just to bring this company down. I'm so upset about all of their changes. How could they give me Salah with all these nice traits, and then just a week later remove them or make changes so you can't use them? Played my very first game since 18 today because my brother told me I needed to see. I won the game but my thoughts after it were how on earth was this allowed be released in such a shoddy state? Money has deffo gone in the right pockets at launch to give good reviews because any one with any sense can see that game needs pulling from every outlet going and then I hear they’ve put it on for free because they are losing players at an incredible rate. That company has no shame whatsoever in the off chance of some poor gamer stumbling on that free game and getting addicted. The rules to the “gambling” buying points need serious revamping similar to that country what have banned them. They have been allowed to roam free with it and now action needs to be taken because these are very dangerous people we are dealing with here obvs because they care naught for people’s mental health nor small kids.

There’s multiple legal routes we could look into (specifically UK): GDPR: legally, you are not allowed to collect data on children under 13. Yet EA definitely does, and allows children to spend money. We could create a template to report to the Data Protection Authority in the U.K. and EU member states. GDPR: we could all make “right to access” requests to EA under the GDPR which would cost huge amounts to respond to, otherwise they would be liable for very large fines. Digital identification: EA does not even ask for any consent/identification requirements to open packs. This does not meet minimum standards for protecting children against gambling, or even for having their data collected. We could create a template to report to the Gambling commission or DPA. With the revenue and also that we know what packs cost, we could probably make an estimation on how many packs per user is bought per/big promo/day etc etc what ever metric you wanna use, it could be interesting to see, because if you get some of the community to not spend on fifa points, you can always look at the new revenue per next quarter or two quarters and get an idea of how many of the casuals are actually buying points, and then get an idea of how much power you actually have over things

If we stop or significantly reduce fifa point consumption it will bring a number of benefits: 1. Much healthier and stable player economy. 2. Squads with a wider variety of players can be used promoting creativity thus unpredictability in an opponents line up. 3. May influence devs to increase ability to grind for icons/ good players in sbcs and/or rewards. There are many more points that touch on like user welfare etc. In conclusion it will encourage ea to reevaluate their approach to the game perhaps change it completely.

So, for the auto drop back part, I think I relatively understand what's happening in the game and why it happens. So, about 2 years ago in fifa 22 when they made the full switch to new gen, they advertised a "realistic back line" feature, where it's a uniform line that moves like in real life, so, what I think is the issue, is the way they coded that. They most likely coded it so that the player models are all connected to each other on defense, so if one moves into the box, they ALL do, which causes every single defender to pack the box, because they don't have a line of code that tells them that they can seperate from eachother.
