When I watched the Season 2 finale, on Hallmark Channel, it ended with Jacob coming out of the pond and then hugging Kat. It didn’t show them walking to the house.

I think the fact that Elliot asked Kat to "choose me" tells me that he has (maybe) gone back and seen Thomas and Kat and the little thing they've got going on...just a wild stab

To be fair Kat did tell elliot about Thomas and Elliot asked if Kat felt something for him since she didnt mentioned thomas much and then she wanted to say goodbye because she thought thomas would die. So maybe thats why he wanted her to choose him

I think this show is really well written. I really like how the time travel works, that you can't just choose when to go, but the pond does. And the whole idea that yes, they can time travel but they cannot change the past, they can learn from it to heal, forgito and move on because of it. And yes, as you said I wasn't really shocked with the whole lingermore situation since Kat made such a huge deal about it worrying that Alice will see it. Del and Kat def should've had bigger fight. I also thought Del would time travel this season. But in the S2 finale, when Elliot spoke to Colton I thought if he knew about time travel, since he recognized Kat and he gave Elliot that look, and then we saw him at the end. I really like how a lot of people are connected with the pond since Casey is somehow in it as well. I also love Susanna.

Just like they referenced "Back to the Future," they did change a few things and Doc did not die because of the information Marty gave him in the letter he wrote to him. If they are following "Back to the Future" as time travel rules, then they can warn Colton about the accident, so he doesn't die.

And my theory was that maybe the horse time travelled (like Fin did) and that del might follow the horse and time travel, but now we know that the horse belonged to the neighbour so. But the way Del met the horse was really mysterious for some reason?

I rewatched the whole series to look for breadcrumbs about Colton, and I saw that he knew Alice was a traveler the moment she showed up soaking wet while wandering in from the woods

I actually cried during some points of The Way Home’s season(s)/episodes- when I was younger I said to my mom on numerous occasions (especially the ones where I knew she was the person i needed & wanted to confide in) “I wish I grew up when you did, we’d be best friends growing up together.” - Kat & Alice make me think of the relationship I have with my mom. {Similar to Lorelai & Rory}

or maybe casey is elliot and kat's daughter. thomas coming to present day and marrying kat would change past history which can't happen. jacob never belong in the 1800s so history won't change. since kat gave the ring to alice, it doesn't make sense kat would have it back again. it could be alice's daughter.

I think Colton might be from a later generation after Elijah. The boy is the grandson to a woman who knows all about that pond. I think the grandmother might be Susanna!

I was thinking about the possibility of the Landry's being the only ones to travel through the Pond, but then Elliot time-traveled back to the 90s and that was no longer a viable theory. I'd really like to get to the bottom of why some characters can time-travel or some cannot.

The season was great, but had to many characters. I think they should concentrate on 2 time lines and not 3. We don’t know much about Evelyn, Victor, Colton, Del, Noah and Casey. Who are Elliot‘s ancestor, his direct line, who is his mother? I forget Monica. Where is Spencer?

I think Jacob is really going home. When Kat was daydreaming about Thomas they didn’t touched each other. But Kat and Jacob they hugged and held hands. I don’t know. I always thought Jacob was going back home to the present time, for one reason or another. I believe he probably had all this memories coming back to him, and made him curious. Love this show. ❤

Elliott was always so weary of time travel and thought it ruined his life in many ways. It didn't make sense that he would suddenly decide to travel himself. Very out of character.

I’ve always wondered if maybe Kat gets pregnant with Thomas’s baby and maybe that’s who Casey is or maybe that just throws a wrench and her and Elliot’s relationship because of course she’s going to stay in her present day but she’ll keep going back so there needs to be a bigger connection to the past. I prefer to say she because she looks like a she. She might be a guy, and if she looked that way, I would say, he. For now, she is a she for me. I don’t care about someone explaining what the pronouns are. That’s odd for me. If she is trying to be ambiguous, then too bad if it is “wrong.” There is a whole lot wrong with all of it.

Susanna is a lesbian/witch, Thomas is a giid hearted liar, Kat is probably a bi or pansexual mess but smart and courageous, Alice another mess but sweet and hopeful and straight, Jacob sweet, loyal and probably asexual in aromatic (hence why he was going to marry Susanna) ans Casey seems sweet and smart and a mystery still and non-binary... its life it's part if this world build
