For many times their is no reason for the unreasonable, but God he looks to you for the strength and the knowledge on how to take it one step at a time. I am a 71 year old woman just now watching this message, but I feel you preached it several years ago just for me now. I was widowed and 2 and a half years later got sinfully involved with a widower and to make it right we married. Four months later, he left me and filed for divorce. Temptation is not only effecting youth, loneliness and temptation effects older people too. Oh, by the way....I was a pastor's widow and the man I married had been a missionary. Now I pray for the strength each day to live through the divorce and see what is on the other side by God's forgiveness and grace. Thank you so much for this message. Amen.

Amen for this sermon. I pray everyday after my recent heartbreak that I will meet the right person for me. Being 25 years old with flaws just like everyone else, my ex really did love and care for me for who I really was but I treated her so bad. She couldn't take it after almost a year of emotional abuse. Ever since she left I have been doing nothing but bettering myself mentally and physically with professional help. I pray every day that that person who will love me for me and my flaws is out there and that we will meet. Even though it feels like I am all alone in this battle, I know others out there are going through similar issues with relationships. I pray for you all as well. Resist the temptation of online dating, resist the temptation of settling whatever comes your way to just cure the loneliness. My ex leaving me put me into shape to better myself physically and mentally. God has bigger plans for me and he will for you as well.

As someone who can relate to being almost 25 and feeling flawed, lonely and depressed most days, I Praise God because our best days are never behind us. The bible say that But the path of the just (righteous) is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day. PROVERBS 4:18 AMP It also says that but just as it is written [in Scripture], “T hings which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard , A nd which have not entered the heart of man , A ll that G od has prepared for those who love H im [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, who obey Him, and who gratefully recognize the benefits that He has bestowed].” 1 CORINTHIANS 2:9 AMP Continue pressing on in becoming the man God wants you to be and leave the future where it belongs in God's hands. been in the same boat. god kept me away from her, while we both bettered ourselves, and especially me. took a long time, many sleepless nights, tears while praying, gloomy days, but its all coming together now. god's timing is perfect and i could see how important it was that i went through the immense heartbreak to be ready for the efflorescence that's happening now. purpose will take you through the best and worst days. it will remind you, on the days when it seems it's all over or it will never come to pass, that indeed you must just keep your head down, work on bettering yourself a day at a time, and keep faith. i wish you the best on your journey. if god is for you, who can be against you?

I just want to say thank you. I am praying for my brother who is addicted to heroin. We grew up around drugs. He was drugged at 7 and has been using other substances since he was young. He is 32 now and has finally got hooked on the worst drug. He is so desperate to quit that he’s choosing to stay in jail as long as possible just so he can stay clean. The very definition of chains. I have been searching for the words that will heal him. I’m going to use this sermon as inspiration for our next conversation.

The past two days were some of the hardest days of my life. I was having an existential crisis. I almost gave up on God and didn’t know what to think after 8 years of relentlessly pursuing him. I told my best friends I was tempted to drop out of bible college and do something different without god after all this time. It’s 3 am where I’m at and spent all night talking to my best friends why I didn’t know if God existed anymore after all this time because I couldn’t handle what happened to me anymore. At 12am one of the friends left, texted me an hour later saying he just prayed that God would speak to me in a supernatural way that I couldn’t ignore. I got home two hours later, opened up my iPad trying to read until i fell alseep, then i get the notification from podcasts about this sermon. I just watched it and couldn’t stop crying. God used you pastor Steven to speak into every situation of my life just now. I have seriously watched almost every sermon of yours for the past two years, and God ministered through you tonight in ways like never before. Which is ironic i say that because almost every time i have had a serious wilderness moment in the past two years, once last semester at bible college, once two years ago after I made the hardest choice in my life, God has spoken to me through your messages. Thank you pastor Steven for following God with everything, cause it has helped me in ways I could ever understand. Thanks for not giving up God, cause he has and just used you so I could know he hasnt given up on me.

I was watching this on the tv 📺. I had to pull it up on my phone. Those same words you spoke when you said if I’m not happy I’ll fake it in a pic. I’m so many words but the very words that came from your mouth was the very words I said.. Glory Glory Glory to my God for bringing me through this storm. Oh Lord this sermons awakened something in me because I had been beat down spiritually for so long. Everyone thinks I’m crazy cause when I’m serving God all I wanna do is proclaim his holy name everyone waits you y’all about Jesus to much. But my soul overflows with praises to my king. Things he has brought me through I never thought possible until I met the amazing grace of my Heavenly Father.. I know I have a calling on my life. I don’t go to church because it makes me sad to see the way things are in Gods house. So I searched and prayed for Jesus to show me who can help confirm things he has shown me things he has told me. He sent me to y’all. You Mr. Carl Kent’s, mrs Bobbi Brown I thank God for showing me my church you all make up my church and I thank you 🙏 so much. I have seen things that are happening now when I read revelations 4 or 5 years ago it hurts to see some of these things come to pass. But our God is in control.

I totally understand where you are coming from. I have struggled with this situation all my life. However, things started changing a bit when I realised that my confidence is in God not in another person's love for me. David also went through the same rejection yet he reminded himself that he is lobed and accepted by his heavenly father who loves him and gave him to his parents in the first instance. Although my father and my mother have abandoned me, Yet the Lord will take me up [adopt me as His child]. PSALMS 27:10 AMP God made this promise to us, let's hold on to this [The Lord answered] “Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. Indeed, I have inscribed [a picture of] you on the palms of My hands; Your city walls [Zion] are continually before Me. ISAIAH 49:15‭-‬16 AMP God has not forgotten the underdogs indeed he even gravitate towards them more ---- But God has selected [for His purpose] the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [revealing their ignorance], and God has selected [for His purpose] the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong [revealing their frailty]. God has selected [for His purpose] the insignificant (base) things of the world, and the things that are despised and treated with contempt, [even] the things that are nothing, so that He might reduce to nothing the things that are, so that no one may [be able to] boast in the presence of God. 1 CORINTHIANS 1:27‭-‬29 AMP --- I pray that God will give you a full revelation of his love for you. you. i find that praying EPHESIANS 3:18 really helps me. Dissmisive sounds like a narssicisstic thing, is one of the ways they try to manipulate, control or discard their subject. One thing that helped me was when I started taking responsibility, recall, the pastor said blame is an escape. Imagine taking responsibility for every decision, choices, emotions, mistakes and all. It was hard I tell you, recall, pastor said "pride of life" ,is a sin. So dear, after I dealt with all that inside, I no longer gave those feelings and the trigger the power to control me. So I had to take action and then came healing. One critical thing that helped me was discovering that confidence was a skill that you acquire through knowledge, boom. You see it made sense because before then, I did not know how to be confident. I thought people who had it, where designed by default or something. So like everything you didn't know how to do before and later learnt, same goes with confidence. Surround yourself with positive people, read books that motivate, listen to inspirational podcast, songs that will lift your spirits up. Make some changes in your lifestyle, small changes when consistent can make us feel like we are taking back control. It could exercise, healthy eating, yoga. It works. Set goals no matter how small. Learn something new that is totally out of your field. God bless you dear, I know you can do it, take back control.

This hit in a lot of places. My heart is so heavy, yet at the same time encouraged. Every time God uses Pastor Furtick to deliver a word like this, it begins to wield away at my perceptions and horrible practices to expose me more and more to that which the Kingdom and My God has to offer. I definitely know I’ll have to rewatch this and study. Awesome Word. I’m crying and I’m hurting and I’m oh so tired, but I’m free because now I can see what God has been trying to show me the past two months. Awesome, Awesome Word. Thanks for doing you Furtick. Not that you need a thanks because you’d die if you didn’t both teach and preach because it’s who you are, but thanks anyway. Your obedience and determination to see God’s will be done in the Earth is truly ( like for real) bringing us back to God. Hope y’all have a great week. God always allows me to hear His Word, through the messages you preach. I have a child, that is a young woman, about to be 30. One week, she treats me nice, the next week, she doesn't speak, acknowledge, or have anything to do with me. It is very hard mentally, to accept and pick myself up from the hurt. Pastor Furtick sermons are helping my life as we speak, rn going thru lost of a very good job, family dispare and as he says just loneliness.
