The rods are excellent but when you need servicing one you like and want to keep they just tell you go buy new one 🤷🏻♂️ not serious at all.

What do you mean by servicing a rod? like replacing a broken guide or what? I don't own any zenaq rods but that very useful information. Thanks

Reckless Currents i have one rod that i take everywhere in the world, i travel a lot, not only for fishing, the rod is a 3 pieces ROUF expedition 67 with a Stella 4000 you can have fun worldwide with confidence and minimum if not no maintenance during your trip, thanks to Titanium Fuji rings and waterproof reel, super good rod, i have it more than 7 years and i landed many nice fishes with it, ( sea and rivers) after this time, the cork, the varnish, are getting damaged and the tip ring also is getting rough. I can buy new but i want to use this one because i like it, full of good fishing memories so i asked Zenaq Japan if they can do something about it( i think its a light easy job) and they just told me to go buy new one even after i explained why for this special rod. In a time where we have a lot of waste floating on the sea, this policy is not the best. Maybe the kind of service i am asking is not doable, money is not a problem ( its always about money) and i don’t have the skills to do it neither have someone arround me who can do it.

@@bachirbattache2997 Well filling up with epoxy all the small cracks then sanding them down the excess with different sanding papers, cutting the cork removing the old glue, putting new cork and glue, removing the epoxy from the top ring...etc I have repaired some of my old rods (they weren't as expensive as Zenaq's) and takes quite a long time, presition and atention to details, so for them it would take them more time to repair it than finishing a knew rod. I recommend you to search on the internet for somebody who does this kind of repairs professionally in your country or even outside and you can send them the rod. If you ever come to the south of spain I know a few really good spots for big yellowtail, snappers, barracudas, bluefish, jewfish, seabass, leerfish...etc from the rocks, I wouldn't mind showing you around. Cheers
