Also, she had decided to stay behind to help her husband run they're church. I know this because 10 years ago, when I was in college, I did a slide show presentation on the clark sisters. Also consider the times were slowly progressing and I remember one year om the Grammys which is an awards show, a black choir started speaking in tongues dancing running all over the stage shouting. It made people uncomfortable because they felt it was a time and place for everything and then wasn't the time. Some people in the audience were shouting leaning over on strangers high in the spirit and THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW PULLED. A MEETING WAS CALLED AND THEY SEPARATED THE GOSPEL PART OF THE GRAMMYS TO THE DAY TIME , AND YOU HEARD BY MOUTH WHO WON A GRAMMY IN GOSPEL. THE SECULAR ARTIST WERE SHOWN ON TV AT NIGHT RECEIVING THEIR AWARDS.
