Finally.....it was nice to see farmers interviewed that have wind turbines. The news media here devotes most of their time searching out people that are against them. How refreshing to see some positive and good news about harvesting the wind.

+Just an observer Too bad these people were paid to have them on their land and are clearly biased. The lies surrounding this industry are stunning. Wise people trust what they actually see and hear as landscapes are pummeled.

Cherry-picked farmers prove little. It's well known that topography is key to the noise problem. And noise is just one facet of why people dislike these bloated construction projects. The visual transformation (i.e. ruination) of vast areas goes against everything environmentalists used to stand for, but now "We gotta stop this climate thing!" has taken over environmental policy, which should be driven by conservation and degrowth initiatives, not just trying to keep people comfortable with sprawling, unreliable energy projects so they don't have to change their ways. But that said, wind power has done nothing substantive to replace fossil fuels, being completely wedded to them for its existence.

Nice to see these videos made, I work in the renewable energy industry, i don't have allot to do with wind, but i do work with farmers and allot of farmers in and around wind turbines here in South Australia. When i see the news stories on all this negative about wind I really do scratch my head, it is not what i am seeing. Finally some stories showing a more truthful view of wind turbines. we just had a major farm stopped near where I live because of negative press. Time for truth to come out

Good work, nice to see some real accounts from people who live around wind farms.

A study in the UK showed up something interesting: of people who reported adverse effects of having a turbine nearby, the vast majority were already opposed to turbines before they were built.

True in some cases, but anyone who truly respects nature wouldn't want huge machines all over it, which makes wind power advocates look no better than coal or oil shills developing lands and oceans. Just admit that wind power is business as usual, and highly visible at that.

What a surprise!

I live near a major road- I'll take "turbine noise" over that any day.

That's a common refrain thatignores the context of rural settings and the unique properties of wind turbine noise contrasted with much quieter ambient noise than cities. The wind industry casually compares the noise to a refrigerator, but who can sleep well with one in the same room? "Clean Energy" is the latest industrial/construction pitch-phrase but it's not fooling everyone. The real problem of economic growthism is being spun under the rug. falseprogress.home.blog/2016/11/03/windschmerz-wind-energy-is-not-green/
