Thank you, Rabbi. I was raised secular. At the age of 40, it's as if I was kicked in the head to wake up! I began Torah study; read it from beginning to end. Now, I open the Divine book and read every night along with the Siddur. I eat Kosher which was quite a challenge, but I made a vow to G-D and have kept it. Shabbat is very challenging for me, but my deep Love for G-D keeps me to continue observing. Thanks to You and All the Rabbis' lectures I listen to daily, I am learning more and more each day. I do so Love the Almighty with all my Heart, Soul and Might. May You be Blessed forever and eternity.

rabbi, I am sure I am not the only one who will say this I am very grateful for your lectures but it seems as though most of them are horrifically depressing

+steven phillips well if you are looking for a comedy show or for another rabbi to just say things to please your ears, then the internet is full of those...the time for games is over...read the very first Psalm and certainly this should help you understand..."most" of his shiurim are horrifically depressing...so you have actually listened to most of them....maybe the problem is you and not him and they seem "depressing" because of who you are and how you wish to see things? be introspective and less prepared to find the fault in him versus in youself.

I find it in my case very so accurate .I lived in LA for 30 years ,I had such huge life I had a huge practice everybody kissed me all over ,I was somebody I had no problem to get up and move to florida Tampa which I call Goy town ,No one knew me ,and once in a while when someone comes to the synagogue that knew me and start talking about me ,thats the reaction I get :Ohh I didn't know you were such and such and I must say it didn't bother me ,and I don't like this sothern town ,so now I am happy I erased much of my sin, However when my husband cheated and I had to leave the home 15 miles away I couldn't get over it for 2 years.and he has so much fun and he claims he is happy.when I was so sad ,because we had a nice marriage by his admission but he said he has a yearning for freedom ,I couldn't change his mind, He was so comited to this prostitution more than our marriage ,

What can we do the Torah is very strict and nowadays barely anyone is following it and Rabbi Mizrachi has no choice but to repeat exactly what the Torah says.
