There ought to be an award for people who do as much for music as he does.

I dont no why but this kind of music always paints a picture in my head it's slightly rose tinted but it lifts the soul. Probably watched too many old black and white films and musicals on tv as a child

I keep waiting for Robyn to start singing... or ask me to dance. I think I’ll have to add this cd to my collection.

Composers Jerome Kern and Dorothy Fields won the 1936 Oscar for Best Original Song. Fred Astaire introduced it in the film "Swing Time" singing to Ginger Rogers while she was washing her hair in the next room.

Listening to this I am imagining myself at a small table, with light from a lamp, drink in hand at a small cafe where I know the head waiter.

You are always so amazing! I know I must have played piano twice as long as you, but I don’t have 1% of your skill. It makes me stand in awe at what your brain can do to make your fingers do what they do. Your musical knowledge is dumbfounding. Thank you for sharing your talents with us!! (And oh, wow! What a set!!)
