Bert excels as a guest, it’s why those of us who love him do, he sucks as an interviewer, but if you are trying to really complain about that u r missing the point. You watch him interview because he is bad, every time he hears a story he is like a child and he gets excited and wants to relate, usually resulting in him telling a short story that is usually a better story than the original story, we listen to Bert because he is the better storyteller almost every time.

You talking about your Dad hunting and using tobacco took me back. My Dad was a big hunter his whole life. He smoked from the time he was 16 until his death at 45. He was a Federal Agent that was killed in a helicopter crash while on the Drug Task Force. I was 9 at the time. He was known to have 2 addictions. Marlboro cigarettes and Mountain Dew. The helicopter was missing for 3 days and there were hundreds of searchers (local and Federal Law Enforcement, National Guard, and even people that he had arrested that said he treated them with so much respect that they wanted to help) and each searcher was given a Mountain Dew and a pack of Marlboro Lights 100s to give him if they found him. Both he and the National Guard pilot were killed on impact. I always relate to you about losing our Dads at a young age. I am now 34 and have a lot of health problems and I'm waiting for a transplant. Your podcasts are some of the highlights of my week. They are great to help take my mind off the daily grind of feeling sick. Thank you for the distraction and congratulations on another great podcast.

Bert’s compliment at the end was 100% true Ryan is able to get questions and answers and thought-provoking conversation out of people and he puts himself in the backseat to just listen and knows how to ask good questions even watching his recent honeydew with Patrick Renna, like I learned a ton of stuff I never knew he is a very gifted Interviewer. And a riot.

I love Ryan Sickler so much, he has the best energy, he makes every podcast he's on the most fun and entertaining to watch. I love his ability to find a joke during heavy conversations, and of course his laugh just fills my soul with pure happiness and joy. I would love to hang out with him, smoke a joint and shoot the shit. He really fits in with anyone he talks to, like they're family even when the conversation is their first one. Bert was great in this episode, that burp as he was in the middle of speaking was one of the most hilarious comedic accidents I've ever seen, and made even funnier when Ryan folds over laughing 😂😂😂.
