My earliest memory of close calls, was watching my 2 year old baby brother fall out of a truck. My mom was pulling up to a curb. And the door opened and he fell out. He landed perfectly between the back tire and the curb. The back tire just barely missed him. No car seats existed back then. We had a camper shell on the bed of my step dad’s truck, and we rode in the back all the time. One day, on the way back from a lake. The truck’s front end fell out, and came to a abrupt halt. The boat we were hauling came flying forward, went threw the tailgate, and pierced the bed and cab of the truck. All of us kids lifted our feet, and flinched just in time. Somehow It missed everyone of us 6 kids. Ever since I can remember. We have dodged a lot of bullets. My family, friends, and I have so many close calls. That if I start writing them down. I would fill 3 sheets of notebook paper.

We go to Amiela island almost every year! That’s a nice beach I live near Tybee so it’s definitely an upgrade imo. But people also love Tybee I guess living so close you don’t appreciate it as much.
