I lived there from 1971-1973. I visited the graves several times while I lived there, Very sad. I never saw or heard of any underground tunnels. BUT as a "punishment" one time I was taken to a building on the grounds, they took me to a basement that had these cells and locked me in one. What Greg described about the basement was true.This area looked really old and unused. Like it was used a lot years before. I was the only one down there and I was very afraid! I remember the chains etc. I was threatened with this "punishment" again if I tried to run away.This went on for a few days. Then I was moved upstairs for a couple more days. There was a "nurse" that was not nice to me at all. I cried a lot! It did get better later, I went to school, then was trained, and worked as a switchboard operator the remainder of the time I was there. Thank you for sharing this video.

We are truly sorry for the treatment you received there. It is a shame that people can be the worst when they have power over someone else. Sending healing prayers to you.

I demolished all of the buildings that were there, all of the dorms were conected by steam pipes in underground tunnels. The men care takers used those tunnels to gain access to all of the girls in the dorms. I was told that all of the children in buried in this cemetary were from those care takers impregnating the girls. That cemetary scared the hell out of me and I hated working out there after dark. I oftern wondered about that place after I finished removing all the buildings. I know that all of the homes that were built there were built right on the same ground that the dorms were located on, haunted? I am sure of it. I did that job in 1995 or 96, it was a long time ago. In the basement of one of the dorms I saw the worst visual, bars on cages with writing on the from the girls who were caged. restraint items, gags, helmets, wheel chairs. I will never forget the feeling of dread and doom when I drove onto the property and stayed with you intil you left. All of the aspestos workers/removers felt it, it was such an terrible feeling. May god have mercy on all who passed though that place and those who never left. By the way, I almost forgot, there are many more graves out there that are unmarked. I remember there being at least 200 of them. Only identified by a 6 or 7 digit number on a tiny stone. Just a terrible place.

I figured there are way more graves than are marked Greg. Thanks for helping make my gut feeling true. I feel that same feeling of dread every time I investigate this cemetery. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

Hi Greg, You are right about the "basement"! As far as the underground tunnels I never saw any. We were in these Big "cottages" they called them. and each cottage had bedrooms and bathrooms on the 2nd floor. Each bedroom had 1 bed for 1 girl in each room, and at night when we went to bed, the doors would lock like a jail cell. The Matrons had the key to open our doors. There were no dorms. This was how it was after they built more buildings. But when there were only a couple of buildings, they probably had dorms. I was there from 1971-1973.

There is an "Unmarked" grave there. I was told that a girls body was found just over the fence to the property. Back then there was a lot of land and farms all around. So since the body was never claimed or identified they buried her there with the other girls and their babies. As far as I know there were only the 51 or 52 graves that are marked. I lived there almost 2 years and would walk around and look at each and every grave there. Isn't there a grave of a girl named Yvonne? I don't remember the last name, but I remember Yvonne because that is my name.

Men should never be put in charge of girls that age especially in a facility such as this, I can't even imagine what went on behind those closed doors.

I lived on Oak St. (few blocks north) from '84 to '04. That cemetery was much harder to find, and way more unnerving before Fox Run was built. Kids would go there to party because it was so isolated. I've spent plenty of time there during the day and night. Definitely was eerie, but never encountered or sensed anything supernatural. Our biggest concern was poison oak/ivy or raccoons!

I visited this place (geolocation game brought me here). Such an interesting place. Gates were locked and could not get in. Private cemetery sign posted.
@GhosthunterDanNorvell6 жыл бұрын
Lisa Holis hmmm. Maybe it is locked for winter. Cemeteries are public domain in daylight hours.

The green sign in your video has changed out, and it says "no trespassing' private cemetery.

Hmmm. Well they very well could have made it private.

The residents that live there are the ones that built the fence, they normally unlock it in the morning and lock it back at night but they've had a problem with vandals, sorry excuses for human beings, the residents are actually the ones that saved that cemetery and pooled their money together to build a fence so these girls could rest in peace.

I can't stop thinking king about the people who like right across from that. They walk out on a beautiful day and all they see is that graveyard.
@badmonkey22223 жыл бұрын
"Those people" as you say are the ones that saved that Cemetery, the residents pooled their money together and built the fence and keep watch over it to keep vandals out, those girls deserve to rest in peace especially what they went through in that hellhole.

Was this cemetary part of an actual facility? Mom used to threaten to send me to the Audy Home when I was bad. I no longer live in the area, or state, but was back last week. I remembered there was a small, old church on Schaumburg Rd, in Schaumburg, and I stopped in to look at the cemetary there. I was amazed at how old some of the headstones were, most in German. Do you know anything about the burials there, or can you direct me to a place that might have on line information? I'm very curious. I've driven by this church, St. Peters Lutheran MS hundreds of times, but never stopped to look until now.

This was part of the facility as far as I know. I do not know much about the burials there.
