"Drowning in the pools of other's lives." UGHH John K. you slay me. For not on you will be referred to as the prophet of Winnipeg. Can I get 3 people to agree with my motion?

I heard this song through a recommendation on reddit. One of the best things that ever happend in my life. The amount this song alone has pulled me out of the dirt is honestly life changing. Something about the rhythm, the lyrics, just everything about this song. It honestly give me a peace of mind

IMO My favorite song of all time. If I was stranded on a deserted island and had to choose one album, it would be Left and Leaving.

Measure me in metered lines And one decisive stare The time it takes to get from here to there My ribs that show through t-shirts And these shoes I got for free I'm unconsoled I'm lonely I am so much better than I used to be Terrified of telephones And shopping malls and knives We're drowning in the pools of other lives Rely a bit too heavily On alcohol and irony Get clobbered on by courtesy In love with love and lousy poetry And I'm leaning on this broken fence Between past and present tense And I'm losing all those stupid games That I swore I'd never play But it almost feels okay Circumnavigate this body Of wonder and uncertainty Armed with every precious failure And amateur cartography I breath in deep before I spread those maps out on my bedroom floor And I'm leaning on this broken fence Between past and present tense And I'm losing all those stupid games That I swore I'd never play But it feels okay And I'm leaving, wave goodbye And I'm losing but I'll try With the last ways left To remember, sing My imperfect offering

Sure, well I still feel bad about downloading music, untill bands declare otherwise it's still stealing. And it's a good thing I saw them on their UK tour at the Mean Fiddler in London. And it was awesome. (manifest) was the song that they played in the encore, with the crowd singing instead of the trumpets that are on the record.

Manifest is on Reconstruction Site, one of the sonnets. I think you have your titles mixed up, I hope you didn't illegally download the Weakerthans, they deserve your money! Manifest is the one that goes "And I'm permitted one act I can save/ I choose to sit here next to you and wave"

For an amature video I though it was quite good. I mean sure, it has a lot of problems which need to be corrected, a good second version could be made, but I couldn't do better with just nothing so well done

it was sort of alot to jam into 3 minutes. this guy is being stalked by some other guy - the one being stalked hires some private investigator to give him some sort of clue of where to find the stalker, then he finds more and more clues pointing to where to go.
