I agree with you on this book being the weakest of the Energon Universe. Everyone of the G.I. Joe prelude miniseries, is that the main characters interact their superiors both Duke and Scarlett talk back and are argument with their superiors but the differences between the 2 is Duke was fired by Hawk while Scarlett got to keep her job and got to go on a new mission with out getting any real corpulences. Scarlett caused an international incident and got a slap on the wrists compared to Duke who just yelled at Hawk. Minde you Duke was still rattled by his meeting with Starscream back in issue 2 of Transformers. Thompson feels like she was given free rain to do pretty much whatever she wanted but the editors came in the last minute and forces connective tissue to the rest of the Energon Universe. When I was reading issue by issue I was certain we would see Snake Eyes and Zartan in the book but no, admittedly this is book about Scarlett but with a foils on the Arashikage I would have thought that Skybound would have took this opportunity to introduce Snake Eyes into the Energon Universe. I personally hope Thompson does not come back to do any more books for the Energon Universe.

I honestly skipped it. I bought every other EU book. Not too big of a Scarlett fan, and reading the description of it sounded uninteresting. I'm about to dive into Destro.
