Not everybody can win the title of this show! Including celebrities! But at least, the money is donated to a charity by a celebrity winner! Anne Robinson, is always strict with every single player! Nope! There's actually a video on how getting the maximum amount the show offers is pretty much impossible. There have been some teams that have been up there in most prize money won but I believe no one on the Weakest Link ever won past 30k pounds. When the show offers 50k pounds it's under the celebrity/special editions and the money won gets donated to the winners charity of their choice, so they don't pocket the money. The daytime and prime time version has a maximum of 10k pounds and only one team got evenly remotely close and that was the Quiz Show Champions edition where they won 7k pounds out of the 10k AND also reached the 1k pound target in the final round which they triple so 3k pounds was won in round 8. People on that edition pocket the money and in the UK they don't tax prize winnings at all so if you win the maximum you keep it all to yourself.
