I always wanted a spear and a scythe as weapons in MH....maybe even as a morph weapon. BUT....I fear we never get that

You should try God Eater They actually have weapons called Variant Scythe and Charge Spear If you play God Eater 3 they have one called one called Heavy Moon that can attack like a Crescent Moon Ring, Heavy Axe and Chainsaw

A spear makes a lot of sense, given you're a hunter, but it's already out of the question, the Insect Glaive is the closest to a spear, a scythe also really doesn't make sense since we have the Long Sword, the Alatreon LS is shaped like a scythe, guess that's probably the closest we'll ever get.

It puts such a stupid smile on my face watching you play Frontier, Skull. I need to properly play Frontier one day, despite knowing just how punishing it would be compared to most of what I am used to. Frontier is just such a gem of a game, and I am happy that many people are more aware of it and have a fondness for it, cause it’s so damn cool. And yes, I can only hope that one day we have both Tonfas and other Frontier monsters to accompany it, cause I can’t enough of them.

I've been wanting reworked Tonfa in the series for a while now, fast and blunt is the last niche monster hunter has yet to cover with its weapons I think, I don't mind it having some arial moves but I think it might get some what I call "bullshit airtime" lol looks fun tho I really want a punching weapon For the monsters I absolutely love forokururu, he's a great addition to the bird wyvern and they desperately need more high tier members, and his pollen mechanic Is dope, laviente is also absolutely awesome and I would love to see a turf war between him and dalamadur, don't really like ray and lilo goulgarf, they are way too bright, crazy and over the top for my tastes even if the magnet mechanics look fun gameplay wise Baruragaru however is one of my absolute favourite monsters in the entire series just based on design and ecology alone, I haven't even got to fight him yet but everything about him it just hits right for me, such a weird creepy leech Leviathan that's a proper apex of the swamp, his blood mechanics are so good aswell

I absolutely agree for the weapon! I definitely think if they tweak it a little bit that they will fit right in with the other weapons in the main line series! Foro and Baru would be incredible to bring back! The gougarfs I personally would love to see back as well but I can see why you aren't a big of a fan of them as the other ones I showed in the video! ALSO big yes on the dala and laviente turf war! That would absolutely destroy the area around them 😂

The idea of new weapons are always exciting, but the Frontier weapons were designed for that specific game, so I don't think we'll ever see them in mainline, but, we could see other new weapons. I think MH already has enough, because the 14 weapons are always evolving.
