To me, channeling Fairport Convention at their most raucous (guitars really similar to Richard Thompson's style) much more than Joni Mitchell, but regardless she's a great talent. Powerful song, and video. The song's about a relationship with one individual, so made me wonder about solely men in the audience. A comment on a divide between women and men in general? Not sure if there's a definitive interpretation or answers, but it definitely makes you think. More importantly (for me, anyway), I just love the lyrics, and the story, and the honesty of it all.
