Thank you so much for writing such amazing books. Through this one I've laughed so hard and when the ladies passed I cried and cried. The way you write makes it so easy to become immersed in the story so deep it's like I belong with the characters. So again thank you so much. ❤

Is this narrator the same narrator that she uses on her other books? Because I'm loving this narrator!

I live in Beaumont, Texas. There is a family here that is part of the boomtown oil. I know several of the family members and this bunch of travelers are just like that bunch. I love Carolyn Brown she is a great Arthur and the narrator is perfect.

Overall very good audiobook. Well written, good narration. The only negative is the accent used by the narrator sounds like a bad imitation of a deep south Mississippi accent rather than a Texas/Louisiana accent as would be appropriate or expected for this story.

I'm sorry...but it's pecan...like puh-kahn. Louisiana girl here, also lived in Texas. It's the same pronunciation.
