You're absolutely right...a friend used to record the festive 50 for me each year and i can remember long train journeys home listening to this as well as every other gem Peel's festive 50 used to throw up.

What a tune!. late Eighties. Reading Festival 90 with the Pixies. Bristol Uni early 90s. I love the Weddoes. What was the name of the Gedge splinter group in the late 90s I saw in a pub in London? Christ knows. But by god I love this tune and others.
