My home break is Zuma beach in Malibu, which gets a lot of Blue Sharks that never bother you, some as big as 8', but the sea critter you love to hate that likes to bite are the Sea Lions, not Seals but the Sea Lions. I have had many leashes bitten in half by Sea Lions along with having them bite my boards and nibble at my feet. They like to grab hold of your board and not let go and worst of all they will bite your feet and draw blood. My worst encounter with those bastards ended up with me in the ER receiving 8 stitches on my instep of my foot that kept me out of the water for nearly a month missing two nice 6+ foot swells!

For the guy complaining about straight dropping in this vid I laugh at you lol b/c this wave is so difficult to do much of anything on especially when it's this big. Paddle out give it a shot lol and to the cameraman thanks boss, finally a sick wedge video without lame background music. Great editing btw. :)
