To anyone who's talking about the clock thing: When the clock gets low, the losing player starts getting a lot of pressure to get in some damage before time runs out. This affects their ability to pull off combos and the sort.

the dice is pandoras box, and it indicates that the game is saving. And different letters will appear depending on how you win. V is normal hit, S is super art, and X is a cross art, and i believe a G is grab.

That Ibuki/Xiaoyu player was pretty damn good. He had some crazy ground bounce combos that had him crossing to your other side and continuing, I've never really seen that before.

he meant that he got an health advantage and then started to run away to force he opponent to attack to get into a better position. Running out the clock doesn't always mean running away from the opponnent till it's a timeout. It also means forcing your opponents to get nervous by playing the clock out against them

I don't know if anyone noticed, but when DJ Lei Lei activated his Cross Assault (where he gets two people out at the same time), Ibuki regained a bunch of health, and Xiaoyu lost some. Could it be related to the Cross Assault health gauge, when they shared a health bar?

I've been trying to incorporate Ibuki into my SFxT teams, but it's tough to collect wins with her. Couple cool things I learned from this vid: - Ibuki's cr.MK ducks under fireballs (WTF?) - Her close st.FK jump cancel is perfect on entry after a launcher, and leads to crazy damage

You can jump in on kuma, stance or no stance, breaking in, big tree don't lead to combos, so not much risk really, and he'll still take recoverable damage if doing breakn in

In that case, perhaps you could answer another question for me. In the pre-battle quotes for Heihachi and Kuma in SfxT, Heihachi points his finger at Kuma's face, any idea why?

you dont need to play with the arcade stick on your lap its what you feel most comfortable with and you can just put some time on the regular controller you can still play at a very high level

2 questions: 1) Why is Ibuki's first win a green G isntead of the usual yellow V 2) 12:39 When max loses the 3rd round of the ibuki fight, as she KO's him a dice 4s on each side appears in her super meter. What was that?

most people (including Max) have been saying SFxT needs a patch to extend the time for a while.

Well, the thing is, when the clock was running low, they were starting to play distance. However max saw this and got irritated, which the other guy was able to punish. So it's half and half.

After watching the fight, I have to argue that the person was trying to run the Clock. He was playing a defensive style that created you to get you frustrated. You were getting a bit careless, and pretty much hanging yourself. Once the time was running low he would back off and then forced you to come in, and then he was in a comfortable position to wait for you to mess up. This strategy may be seen as lame but very effective, very similar to the way Flocker would play vanilla MVC3.

It just evens out the health between your two characters, so that won't help you get a life lead unless you already had one.

Here is my problem. My team is Jin and Nina. i can cancel stuff like shin masatsu with jin properly on D-pad and do his combos etc.. but not on analog stick, but i can only play nina on analog so i switch between them in fights.

If theres one thing about this game that bothers me, its that sometimes when you do a combo the damage scaling makes it looks like it did absolutely no damage at all.

But I think if you have sightly more health then the player and there's like 10 seconds on the clock. You shouldn't risk going in to kill them, It's best just to run away.
