I hope you tackle loft spaces in the next season! Or more studio apartments and rental units because I'm from that generation that can only afford to rent.

Sara Roger... I'm in the older generation, and we're there too. I recently sold my house to move closer to my daughter. I didn't get as much for it as I might have a few years ago. Where I live, I can only afford an older mobile home or maybe rent. Not even rent of a house. Maybe a small apartment or room in someone else's house. It's pretty sad, but I worked all my life, and have a small pension, so I'm grateful. Good luck.

This was an amazing season! I love the weekender because there is no drama (except maybe spiders) like the other Reno shows. I'll have my eyes peeled for a season 4! Until then I think I will have to watch every episode again! Thank you Monica.

I started watching in season 3 and loved it so much I went backwards. So cool to see how Monica has grown and is teaching homeowners more skills and involving them more now! I’m in awe of her furniture skills! Wish I could do that! We are pretty overwhelmed taking care of our disabled son, and all our extra money goes to what he needs but I’d LOVE to do a great bedroom for his younger brother. How’s Seattle looking for the next season?

My grandpa has a play set exactly like it in his yard as well. Even just as run down. And when I was little, I had a turtle toy thing exactly like that. But I like 2 states away not to mention how many cities. It must've been a popular swing set installation from awhile ago that got really run down as time went on.

I loved the Everything Attic, out of these. I want to see what Monica can do with a stairway in the entranceway. My condo has basically two flights of stairs to get people into the main living space, and I haven't figured out a way to get around the bad first impression when they walk in the door. I'm doing a lot with the Great Room and the upstairs, but I have to drag people up the stairs to get them to appreciate it at all.
@tasia28776 жыл бұрын
MasterofOssus I think in one of the other seasons they did that, just look for it😶😶
@MasterofOssus6 жыл бұрын
They sort of did this with the mudroom, if that's the video you're talking about. But I don't even have a mudroom. It's literally just a stairway that guests have to climb up two flights of stairs from the front door before they get to anything livable. Not a bad effort, though. :)

@cricketsmith3686 жыл бұрын
Another excellent transformation that is an inviting play area for the girls & their friends. I see that area as a magnet for all the neighborhood kids = could be a concern without fencing around the backyard. As the girls grow the shed will make one super playhouse.
@TehKirby046 жыл бұрын
I loved the shed idea and how great the swing set looks now. I was a little deflated that we didn't get explanations on how what you guys did to the swing set made it safer in the video. I'm new to this sort of revamping, but the wood looked so old that I questioned how safe it actually was.

Well done, as always ! Congrats to The Weekender Team for another wonderful season. I love the designs, the quality of the videos (filming, editing, ...) and obviously learming all those tips !! If there would be a season 4 (pretty pleeaaase), could it start with a "fast forward" of the previous season ? Meaning: doing a quick interview of one (or more ;-) of the previous people that had The Weekender come over, and to let them show/speak about how the makeover evolved ?

Swiss army room nice. Could have made homeowner stated what qualified as use for that space. Which can be use to make the entrance to the house much better as an elaborate mud room/ entrance by vaulting the ceiling opening that space to the rest of the house.

I remember this couple from Knock it Off and the playroom you and Jess did. Lucky kiddos! :-) I'm enjoying this series very much, but I'd like to see a little more emphasis on adult, efficient living. There is a real trend toward "tiny" living; it would be great to see some shows with that focus. I live in California where housing costs are crazy and people are being forced to downside, like it or not. Any design help is appreciated! :-)

How do the kids get on the monkey bars? Do the shed windows open? If they eat in the shed, they will attract rodents and insects. A little outdoor picnic table would be ideal. Besides the swing and monkey bars, it would also be nice to have more active play features, like a balance beam, rock wall, fireman's pole, rope climb, gymnastic bar, etc.. I think the play house will be great for sleeping bag sleepovers!
