I have the exact same feeling. I literally do not have one negative thing to say about the album. I don't even have a minor nitpick. It is sequenced perfectly, the perfect length, perfectly produced, well written, ha excellent vocals, is fun and varied, introspective, yet dark. It is my favourite album of all time, and an album I enjoy so much that I reserve it for special occasions to not overplay it. I don't know a single album that resonates with me nearly as well. Like if the best album apart from After Hours is a 10/10. After hours would be a 15/10. It is such an incredible album.

Dawn FM is at least A-tier to me. Crazy impressive as an existential concept album with top production and the blending of 80s sounds. Smooth transitions from track to track. Jim Carrey is the perfect voice for the supernatural radio host. Is it perfect? No, as you mentioned there are definitely some tracks with weak features that hold it back. For me, this is one of his best and most creative albums that perfectly followed After Hours.

i think "every angel is terriyfing" should be a real song and not an interlude or advertisement. Then the album would be much better. Something is missing between the tracks "starry eyes " and "every angel is terrifying". It feels like an interlude that's too long between "Is there someone else" and "Dont break my heart"

Nah bruv BBTM can’t be a C tier, it’s the album that pretty much put him on (in terms of mainstream recognition , his chart topping records, Grammy awards etc.). I absolutely love that album and it’s filled with bangers. Songs like As you are, acquainted, prisoner and angel 💎 are really underrated tracks.

I think After Hours is his best and most refined work yet and my fav Album of all time. Its so divers and yet conclusive. Kissland is the perfect example of a "grower". At first i rly didnt like it at all and the more listens I gave it the better it got. now i think its def a god tier album and it really feels like an album. MDM is prob a hot take but i feel like this Ep is soo underappreciated. Every song is just amazing and the lenght of the record shouldnt play a role on how you rank it in my opinion. With Kissland i think MDM is his most emotional work and you can hear and feel it. I was never there is my fav track of all time. House of Balloons is an amazing and legendary mixtape and its only A tier due to the fact that i somehow dont enjoy the party & the after party and loft music as much as i enjoy the any song on the Albums i ranked god tier. He managed to tell a cohesive and complete story while making absolute bangers. He also communicated his emotions well throughout the album and we can feel his vulnerability despite most of the songs being so upbeat

I was in 100% agreement with you until After Hours. After Hours is his best project if we’re being honest. HoB is absolutely amazing but lyrically it’s very one note with very narrow subject matter. Musically it’s a masterpiece. After Hours shines in both music and lyrics though. It’s definitely at least equal to HoB if not better.

The reason I want The Weeknd to go back and make music like trilogy is because he simply paved that road for that sound and simply no one does it better. To me that is my favorite sound in music ever and The Weeknd embodied that sound better than anyone I had heard before and it’s simply just much more unique and feels more sincere than like a generic pop song like on dawn fm.

4:51 is all I have to say haha For me I only have 4 tiers: Level 1: House of Balloons, Kissland, After Hours (many times I just shake my head listening to these albums because he is just so far ahead of everybody else it's incredible) Level 2: My Dear Melancholy (it's not level 1 for me only because I wish it were this vibe for another 30min; otherwise perfect), BBTM (true dark acoustic sound), Starboy (half the album is much lower but songs like: Starboy, Reminder, True Colors and Ordinary Life onwards are absolute killers; opposite feel to BBTM acoustical though with heavy production which confuses me as to which I like better as they are apples and oranges...fresh apples and oranges haha) Level 3: Thursday & Echos (I don't know why but I don't play them much) Level 4: Dawn FM (it seems to be a transitioning or pivoting album in his "story" or "career" rather than a project where he was going for the jugular; still has great additions to his catalogue)

Tbh bro I felt the exact same way for Dawn FM especially with Lil Wayne feeling out of place but after so much time I genuinely can enjoy the entire record for what it is. GOD: hob, eos A: Thursday, kissland, after hours, Dawn fm, mdm B: Starboy, bbtm Honestly for me all albums are top, I mean I literally can’t pick one to go in the shower they are all just too good, only reason I can actually rank them is because some are more consistent than others but they all have huge hits and special moments. Dawn and AH are God tier for me, up there with HoB. HoB is like his classic record in his discography, After Hours is his Magnum Opus, and I think Dawn FM is his version of a pop album format, done well.
