I went to school with someone who died in a car crash. He pulled over to help someone else in an accident, and a passing car hit him. 3:08 is how I imagine that scene played out in slow motion, with the eerie instrumental, sirens and everything. Even to him saying "I ended up, in the back of a flashing car" (in this case an ambulance). I can't help but get a heavy heart everytime I hear this part of the song. It's hauntingly beautiful, yet so so sad and heartbreaking..
