It's so painful. This whole album is so painful. It's so vulnerable, everything hurts. The 3 bonus tracks just opens the wound again. It's like the whole album is about the absolute hollow feeling of yearning for a partner, a companion, a friend to share the pain with and be at peace.

there is so much pain in this song. I love how he has taken a concept that is inspired from his own life and turned it into a beautiful and electrifying masterpiece. I don't know whether the album was therapeutic or destructive for me which is a sign of a GREAT friggin' album. It tells a story and all of relate to it in our own different ways because most of us have faced this sort of a turmoil in varying intensities. He really took my heart away with this album, it is probably the most orchestral and conceptual albums of all time!

There's only one man that can protect him well actually he's not a man he was at one time he came here in the flesh and died on the cross for our sins he needs God and if he think he strapped to a contract that he signed so he might as well Live It Up they have tricked you and lied to you you have a way out all you have to do is get on your knees and how the Lord you are a sinner and you cannot do this on your own and ask for forgiveness and ask him to come into your heart and be Lord of your life that you need him and without him you cannot be saved that you want the free gift of salvation and whatever contract he thinks he's bound to oh no longer had no chains on him he will be set free he must turn his back on the industry or we will lose Abel because we are already slowly losing him he has the voice of an Angel the words of the devil but he can use that beautiful god-given gift to glorify God and not to be afraid to call out God by his name Yahweh the Alpha and the Omega the beginning the end Jesus Christ yahshua what we can do is pray for his salvation claim him for the kingdom playing him for the King of Kings the Lord of lords claim him for Jesus Christ because without him you cannot get to the father Jesus came here to save us! To give us away to repent for our sins to confess we are sinners to escape the wrath of God for the punishment of our sins thin can you get not go unpunished and God does not send you to hell you send yourself there by denying you are a sinner by denying Jesus Christ is Lord denying that you are a sinner by saying the Lord needs to catch up with today's world do you not think he did not already know that this world was going to be this way in the Bible it says there will be a great falling away it's called the Great apostasy where are the churches that's what's going to happen yep the church the church is first going to be judged for a wolf's in sheep's clothing if a pastor at your church says you need to be healthy and you need to be rich stand up and walk right out do not give that man one penny you may give him some advice by telling him that he needs to get down from that pulpit and stand in front of one instead of behind it these prosperity preachers that teach nothing about wealth and health yeah who doesn't want to be rich who doesn't want to be healthy but those are things of this world the lord said separate yourself from this world for if you don't you will die like this world it's coming to an end we don't know when but the Lord does not keep his faithful in the dark he says my people will die for lack of knowledge my people will begin to not need me or seek me so I will remind them before the end I will get them on their knees to remember that they need me or they will spend the rest of their days in Hell , our Lord has given us such mercy and Grace on This Nation how we behave anything goes now you can be whatever you want I go buy this pronoun I think I'm a boy trapped in a girl's body you have been programmed because 10 years ago this crap was not going on people think Sodom and Gomorrah was burned down by a hail of brimstone because it's homosexuality that was just a part of it's a small part of it it was because the people forced their way of living their beliefs on them and if you resisted they would torture you to death rape your daughters and sons in front of you sodomize them they weren't you human trafficking male and female prostitution you name it it was going on in Sodom and Gomorrah Abraham I asked the Lord if I can find 30 people will you save the city yes if I can only find 15 people will you save the city the Lord said yes this went on back and forth he said what if there is only 3 people the Lord said yes the Lord said I only want one man that will stand up against that a battery that's going on why Abraham is begging him 30 15-20 the Lord only wanted one man 2 to speak to the people just one and you would have stayed the entire city La was Noah's cousin I believe so the Lord gave Mercy on them and lock was also a Believer and did not partake in their lifestyle even though he was surrounded by every day so that's why him and his family were saved because the hearts of all those people were nothing but of evil and the Lord knew it there was no changing them they wanted you to change when the Angels Came In to get lock and his family out of the city the men gathered around locks home and said hand over those two men so we can have our way with them or we will come in and have our way with all of you they were so caught up in their sin they didn't even realize that they were angels God's holy angels sent down they wanted to sodomized them that's how far away those people got from God that they couldn't even recognize angelic beings right in front and in Genesis when the Lord said my spirit shall not resign with man forever for a hundred and twenty years the church has run off for that thinking that we get to live for a hundred and twenty years no my friends that's not what that means it was a timeline from the old age to the new age the Lord was saying 120 years I am giving man which took Noah 120 years to build the ark he gave man a hundred twenty years to get their act together but they still didn't the only reason why 8 people were saved because they were only 8 people the other Bloodlines were tainted with bestiality the Fallen ones Noah's family was the only pure bloodline see Satan was trying to destroy the bloodline of the human race because the Lord said it shall come by a woman and it will bruise you on its head so he knew whatever was coming was coming by a female and it would not be your average birth it would be a virgin birth that's why you have so many counterfeit stories of all these virgin verse like nimrod who died unexpectedly who is married to his mother that was his wife who had an affair and was pregnant and made the astonish claimed that she got pregnant by Nimrod he miraculously came alive and then inseminate in her and then died again and that this how we got Sun worshipping oh I could go on and on with so many facts the Bible open it read it it's amazing Let It Come Alive to you let it feed your inner soul it is starving God bless you all Jesus Christ is the only way to the father everyday you get a new day to make it up by repenting for your sins but don't make a game out of this cuz the Lord knows your heart he knows if you are truly struggling with something and you are truly sorry because eventually after you keep repenting it will get easier and easier and eventually you will start to hate that thing that is separating you from God I love you all the devil is a liar and deceiver and he wants you all in hell with him for he was the Lord's favorite angel but we was a lord prized possession he loves us more than anything he made us in His image and likeness and the devil hates us for that he hates that we have salvation he can't believe that God came here in the flash to be slaughtered like a lamb for us he just cannot comprehend that he hates it so he hates you just remember that and the lord loves you God bless you all

This video is filled with references from Abels past. Glass Table Girls, The Zone, the girl from Wicked Games, Twenty Eight, Asian girls from Adaptation, Kissland, the deer from Call out my name. Abel is telling us of the struggles from the past life of drugs, alcohol, sex and stardom. He references many of his old songs like love in the sky, coming down, the fall and high for this and how his old life keeps dragging him back but he continues to reinvent himself. What a ride.

King of the fall? Yeah... the fall is soon. I can agree. These might be his emotions he’s expressing through sound and video, his trauma, but it relates all too well to the trauma we’re all experiencing, and about to experience. Though to be honest, we kinda need a reset. It’ll be better in the end. Especially because I have plans to create an Eden for humanity and beyond... it just won’t happen until all our conflicts are resolved.

I'm 50 years old. I have bought and own albums by legendary artists in my time. Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Prince, George Michael, Whitney Houston, etc. I'm telling you , "The Weeknd" is very special. He makes art, not just music. He's exposing his soul to us with these songs. The level of honesty and commitment here is off the charts and you get emotionally invested as a fan. He's different in a way that you only see once in an awhile. I pray that the toll of his stardom and passion doesn't consume him like it has so many of the greatest of all time.

Abel did a good job here, I can't stop listening his album and i can't stop thinking about I saw this concept in other groups in the kpop industry, for example bts, they based on a psychologist book of Carl Jung, in that book he talks about all our personalities and "personas" we have, bts made an hole trilogy about this since 2016 talking about school system in Korea and love yourself. I hope he can do more of this, I followed him about 4 years but I dislike his 3rd album but this is art, I like it! it's really awesome seeing western musicians doing concepts and having theories bc this remind me to kpop lmao.

This song explains your darkest demons which are part of you and you can't get rid of them. You just have to accept them for what they are provided what you experienced in the past or whatever you facing in the present. This song is the true definition of your subconscious mind and lyrics are what your soul is trying to say which you can't explain. The Weeknd is the only artist that takes you to your darker dimensions only to accept what you have instead of running away from it. When nothing goes right, go weeknd. XO Till We Overdose.

This is the *After Hours* storyline: In Alone Again, he was struggling to draw the line between being in a relationship and living the nightlife. Too Late talks about how he can't be saved from himself. Hardest To Love and Scared To Live, he reminisces on hurting this lover so many times that she's hesitant to love anyone else. She ultimately leaves him, and he's kind of reflecting on that. Escape LA and Snowchild, he's reflecting on material things and women, but they all feel the same now. In Faith he parties so hard he OD's. Heartless and Blinding Lights, he's embracing the nightlife, and at the end of the songs he harkens back to a specific lover for comfort. In Your Eyes, The Weeknd suspects his lover of seeing someone else. In Save Your Tears, he tries to go back to this lover again, but this time she won't accept him. In Repeat After Me, it's confirmed that his lover finds someone else. The Weeknd is put off by this, and suggests that she doesn't love the new guy, and doing this to spite him. In After Hours, he misses this lover and the only way he can get close to his lover again is in his dreams. And the only way he can forget, is by getting high. But now, the high isn't working (after the OD scare, he realized the high he wants is unobtainable). And he's feeling lonely in those crowded rooms with all of those women that look the same. In Until I Bleed Out, he's sick of getting high, and he's sick of thinking about this lover, and the only way to stop it is by cutting himself, and bleeding out (killing himself). Final Lullaby was coming to terms with dying, and putting himself and his fantasies about his lover to sleep. I look at this album like his Rolling Stone song. He's talking about a lover, life, drugs, and fans as a multi-entendre. And also, this theme reminds me of Tears In The Rain. Who knew that song would reflect an album 7 years later.

I love how this video incorporates references from Thursday, House of balloons, Echoes of silence and Kissland. The balloons itself represent the HOB, the colours of the balloons represent Thursday and the colour of Abels suit represent EOS. The video itself is set in the house of balloons while a number of things take place. Each of the females represented in the video (Glass table girls, valarie, the zone, Thursday and Kissland girl) show the struggles Abel has faced prior to his years to stardom. In which, it highlights his past sex crazed drug and alcohol life. The irony is now that the focus is shifted onto Abel instead of the girl in the ‘The Zone’ with him being the centre of it all. The visuals on a whole, are both theatrical and symbolical with great references of his past work. My king has done it once again❤️. X’O If anyone wants to check out my analysis I just did not the ‘twenty eight’ mv and add to it u can.

@Reptiliatus
@Reptiliatus 4 жыл бұрын
Abel took us back in time to reexperience “The Zone” music video vibes/nostalgia, loved that. The way I interpreted this music video is that the people at the party all dressed in black pulling at him and holding onto him represent the drugs, lust, sex, -the life that he’s trying so hard to break away from. The bright lights in the distance represent the clean life he wants for himself, that he is trying to escape to before it’s too late and he’s consumed by his toxic lifestyle.
