This was another thought provoking video. Thanks! I tend to lean more on the digital tools being leverage. I've become accustomed to tuning out noise and notifications and being in the present for meetings or gatherings. In fact, I'm not comfortable with analog tools anymore.

@@verbaltovisual I usually use the Apple Notes app for text and have been trying to learn sketch noting on the Freeform app. I’m not very good but I’m improving.

I'm definitely feeling the burden of digital tools. Mainly because I feel embarrassed taking out my iPad in meetings, it's definitely not as inconspicuous as normal notebook. Then if I'm using pen and paper I feel bad for not using my iPad, so end up not taking notes at all. 😬

I tend to think that there's a time and a place for each set of tools you like to use. So even if you decide not to use your iPad in meetings, I'm sure it comes in handy in other situations!

Well it's each to their own of course but for me digital definitely IS more of a burden than a bonus. Whether for personal or communicative work give me a whiteboard! Here I can & do refine & iterate the ideas, I can "delete" with my finger or a cloth! A mobile phone can take a good picture for saving &/or sharing. Even when I got very experienced using digital, there was always felt a lack the "flow". Then too, ALL of the sketch notes done digitally by many different visual thinkers kind of look the same! Whereas analogue stuff carries so more character & personality.
