I couldn't agree more. When i listened this for the first time,i felt the pressure that Sonic was carrying. The destiny of the world,the battle aganist The Exiled,everything. This tries way too hard to be serious and it results in the mediocre mess of a story. I was actually laughing tears at the Chris Thorndyke storyline. But hey, on the bright side this song is unironically on the level of alot of sonic boss themes.

Honestly this is a love letter to the 2000s era Sonic fans... the final boss vocal track, Super Sonic, and Bentley Jones of all people making a comeback on a fan project of all things... it's spectacular. I have my criticisms of the game itself but even for a fan project this blew me away!! It was like a Sonic game plucked from another timeline and it feels like magic for that reason alone!!

I went into Sonic Omens expecting something, and I got everything but my expectations. The game sorta let me down. But the final boss, and especially this song? I enjoyed it immensly. I've been listening to this song on loop for days now. You know even with some of the sonic games in gameplay fail sometimes, it’s always the ONE thing sonic never fails in. And of course, it’s soundtracks. No matter what failed games considered to the sonic community thinks, like 06, forces, maybe a few more, they NEVER fail with its hyped up music. And even for omens despite having a whole “disfunctional” and pretty…”gross” actions like that Maria thing, you can almost feel that no matter what they gaved it their all in this final battle against the exiled, While some love or hate the fight due to I think having the similar buggy problems like 06 had. The music and the fight itself in story is what makes this possibly one of the best sonic finales Sonic has, even for a FANGAME. Despite not made well, let it sink in, a FANGAME really nailed a finale perfectly. And this song is the definition of that. So overall, 10/10!
