I guess in the end, this song is not about the quality of people's voices, it's not even about the fact that some of them may be lip sinking .............all they are doing is UNITING in a world that is so uncertain and, quite frankly, scary. They have a song that they obviously love and all they are trying to do is spread that..........love, hope, joy and unity to all of us. How the hell can this be wrong..............we are all in this together and so how about we all appreciate the message they are sending .......rather than criticizing their 'real message'. Much Aroha (love & respect) to everyone in this video. Jim (New Zealand)

OMG, just what I needed, Grandma passed in the Nursing home while I was ill with it, it's been a hard month & a half, just now getting to grips with it, Grandma loved the Band, I've loved them since I heard them as a teen, sure been missing those that have passed, still have my bootleg Band tapes, thanks for these memories & next time I can add a vocal or two. Brilliant.

Love this concept and the song. I'd like to see more of this. It would be good to identify the artists as they perform.
@pacoc55654 жыл бұрын
Robbie Robertson claims to be the author of this song... If you truly wanted to give credit to the artists who wrote this song (and I suspect that may be where you were going with your comment), just consider the lyrics of "The Weight". Robbie had zero life perspective as a Canadian of a Southern man in US Civil War times anymore than Neil Young did as a Canadian when he wrote Southern Man in his US 1970 album After the Gold Rush.... All about the money and selling records, no politics, nothing to see here
