This is Hunger Games stuff, so spoilers for that I guess. There can only be one winner of the Hunger Games but the main pair have developed a bad romance through their stumbling around. It ends with them both being the final contestants so one would have to kill the other to end the game. They threaten the producers that they’ll just commit a double suicide and ruin the fun/marketability of having a winner. This succeeds which means that neither die and they are both the winner.

Ok, reguarding the double suicide, I think is a reference to the first Hunger Games book. (spoiler ahead) So, basically: At the end of the first Hunger Games, only Katniss and (I think, haven't read the book or seen the movie in a while) Peeta remain standing, but they don't want to kill eachother, so they treathen a double suicide, which would make that Hunger Game end with no winner. It works and Capitol sends immediately some personnel to save the two contestants. So, in the simulator, two contestants (in our case Marcy and Hop Pop) try to do the same thing, but it fails because, usually,when it happens there is at least one other contestant that can become the winner, so Capitol doesn't care, which means the plan (threaten double suicide to have Capitol save both of you) fails, and the two contestants die.

And hooty killed 3 people. Lilith and raine included. With an explosive. How Edit 4: Last Edit and holy shit raine slayed. He blew up edric king the collector and gus in one go, blinded odalia and Terra which killed them and set willow on fire. Hooty won somehow though. He bashed Steve's head in and killed Lilith and emira, then severely injured raine and left them to die. Hooty somehow killing and winning
