The WEIRDEST food we've ever had on a cruise! Wonderland on Anthem of the Seas

Join us in episode 4 of our Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas series, where we experience some of the weirdest food we've ever tried on a cruise ship, at the speciality venue Wonderland. The whole experience is quite magical and surreal, think Alice in Wonderland and you'll be on the right track!
According to Royal Caribbean: "Wonderland Imaginative Cuisine is all about pushing the culinary envelope. Dishes are designed to tantalise your taste buds and present a visual feast. Find crispy crab cones topped with fluffy avocado mousse, gazpacho served with pepper spheres and bread foam, and dreamy desserts that will take your breath away. Pair your meal with cocktails described as 'magical' elixirs crafted to deliver full-sensory experiences."
During the day we visit the port of Bilbao, where we see the the world's largest flower sculpture - Puppy outside the Guggenheim museum and also take the Funicular de Artxanda to the viewpoint overlooking the city!
Back onboard Anthem of the Seas, we have dinner in Wonderland, followed by Spectra's Cabaret in the 270 lounge.

I agree with you regarding Spectras Cabaret. We stayed to watch it all, but came out saying never again. Technically it was impressive, but I could not follow it at all. To be fair, not sure if you saw it, but had a similar opinion on 'The Gift' also that was in the Royal Theatre. Don't be embarrassed about getting a whole pizza. My wife has to order them whole as she is Coeliac, so has to have Gluten Free bases. Another great Vlog. I hope you have another Royal cruise booked already.

I have been to Wonderland twice. Tip, if you go again and there was something you weren't fond of, you can let them know and they will bring something else. We didn't like the tomato water.

Hi guys great vlog were thinking of booking a world cruise with P&O on Arcadia for 2024 the only thing is were both only 45& 43 and both male and wonder if we will stick out like sore thumbs were both none camp and none scene.Also trying to decide between going with P&0 or princess cruises as Princess would be from Los Angeles on Island Princess.

Hi! Thank you! Arcadia and world cruises do attract older passengers in general, but when we were onboard in 2019 for 2 weeks we didn’t feel like we stuck out at all, either for being young or a male couple. Cruises seem to be the most acceptable places which is why we love them. We always feel like we are going back home on a P&O ship. Island is around the same age so there won’t be much in it when it comes to the ship. With P&O you will have mostly U.K. passengers but Princess will most certainly have a more mixed nationality. Look at the destinations as that will no doubt play an important part. In general we find Princess have slightly better standards across the board but that can also be reflected in the higher prices. Hopefully that info helps :)
