I love this deck. I was surprised how easily these thicker cards shuffle. I never even noticed the ankhs, lol! My go-to rws. ❤

Been reading tarot since 2004 and I own umpteen versions of the Rider Waite including the Blushing Fool and 1968 Albano Waite. The Weiser Tarot has become - hands down - my absolute favourite version of the RWS and is the one I read with professionally. The card stock is good - similar to the card stock for the Wild Unknown - and I have no problems with the Ankh. The University Books version from the 50s and 60s had the pink backs and a big Ankh. Big deal. Also, the Weiser takes some occult leanings from the Albano Waite and has the skies cued to the colours representing the suites' elemental energy. The improved representation in the people is welcome too. Pity some people don't like this deck; I believe this is the most significant non-frivolous version of the RWS published in decades.

Thanks for the look-see! Yeah, I really don't care for the ankhs on the backs of the cards. And the cardstock could be more accommodating. That was a very precise comparison to the centennial deck. Makes me suspect you are a researcher, in a lab, maybe? I do like the inclusivity displayed in the deck and I love the colors. It's not perfect, but it'll do. Thanks, again.

Exactly! All those points. Great diversity but ankhs all over the place. Those card edges are a bit rough and scratchy. I love the concept and the art, the execution of some things could have been better.
