The West Coast Influence

I was sport truckin' around that year. 1984 extended cab square body with the line smoothed out, smoothed door handles, 5-7 drop, special rims, roll-pan, with a smoothed tailgate. never drove it though because it was so much work that my dad gave up on me. so i turned around and Bought (loan) a 1990 C-1500 sport (the down version of the 454ss) standard cab short box and put air-ride on it and a roll-pan and other upgrades. had to give the truck back to the bank. i later bought another 1989 full size chev truck (standard cab short box) and completely re-did the body, the chasis and replaced the box with a sport side box. my dad ended the project by flattening the tires (slashed) and put it behind his shop where it sits today. and that is where i am today missing a truck. i went from being a Mini-trucker even working on buddies trucks and then went to the full-size. i still prefer the full-size chev. i once convertablized a buddies square body s-10, he was into those radical concepts i am into sport trucks, camaro or corvette and truck together. hopefully someday i can once again cruise.
