Day 4 of the West Highland Way begins with a sense of anticipation as I bid farewell to the welcoming embrace of Beinglas Farm Campsite. My journey takes me past the enchanting Falls of Falloch, where the rushing waters serve as a reminder of nature's power and beauty.
As I press onward, the weather takes a familiar turn, with rain descending upon me as I traverse the path past Crianlarich. Despite the damp conditions, I persevere, drawing strength from the resilience forged through previous encounters with the elements.
Nearing Tyndrum, I find myself reminiscing about a ghostly tale that has haunted my thoughts since the journey began. With each step, the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end, adding an eerie dimension to the already atmospheric surroundings.
As I approach my destination, I reflect on the challenges overcome and the memories made along the way. Despite the rain and ghostly whispers, my spirits remain undaunted, fuelled by the camaraderie of fellow travelers and the promise of warmth and comfort awaiting us in Tyndrum.
