Hi Douglas! Do you thinks people in Europe and the us have a problem with the deep understanding of hamas view of life? People doesn’t seem to understand why Hamas will sacrifice their own civilian and hence they deny the use of human shield and atrocious against does who “don’t follow the way of Islam”. Most western countries believe that war can only be done on a battlefield. If you google is it possible to invade a country without using military force? Yes, and it will list ways. 1. Simply select a first world country which is prosperous. 2. The people lack gratitude for their own freedom and reject their own history and culture. 3. Established Balkanized communities within the host nation but still retain your prior national allegiance. 4. Grow your own population inside the host nation. 5. Align yourself politically with other aggrieved groups to form a large coalition of voters who all want free stuff. 6. Maximum use of government assistance in order to bankrupt the host nation and foment revolution. 7. Once the free stuff voters outnumber the taxpayers, defeat is inevitable. His point about free speech -- that he sees it as a practical/pragmatic good, not an intrinsic moral good in & of itself-- is exactly the European apprach to speech that led to speech codes in Europe. Euros see value in free speech only if it produces a public good. Therefore if they see an idea (e.g. Holocaust denial) producing bad social results, then they have no problem criminalizing that idea. Because, like Murray, they value free speech as a means to an end, not for the sake of freedom itself.

We are a nation established not on a biological foundation, but on a spiritual-ideological one: "Love your neighbor as yourself." That is, we were people from all around ancient Babylon who felt a problem with living our lives solely according to competitive-materialistic ideals and sought for a higher truth to our existence, which we revealed as a higher force of love, bestowal and connection that united us above our divisive drives. That is why we cannot remain divided without suffering from our separation. I would like to address the question about questioning faith/religion within Christianity. There is much written about the Protestant reformation particularly in England. When I first became a believer in Jesus/Yeshua at 21 I was given book after book on the reformers like John and Charles Wesley, and also was it Whitfield that was around the same time? Also in the USA with Charles Granderson Finney with his holiness preaching. My point is that many have questioned the status quo to bring about a more pure more compassion based faith. If mr Murray reads this please let me share from my understanding of anti gay rhetoric. Many have stood on the words that condemn gay/ lesbians and say sodom was wiped out because of their sexuality but I read in multiple places, particularly in the prophet Ezekiel saying it was the sin of being over fed and unconcerned, they did not look after the poor and needy. The book of Romans is used also as a sword to stab gays which if read further Paul says but do not judge because the way you judge other you condemn yourself because you also was like this. Please don’t write off a faith experience just because of ignorant people. ❤

I used to be optimistic by nature. I think I was. Now, old, I’m of an opinion that Israel can never find peace for its people whilst ‘the thing’ that hates it, and surrounds it, still exists. And I can’t see how ‘the thing’ will cease to exist. And so this whole area will always be engulfed in barbarism unless God intervenes and puts an end to it. But Douglas Murray at least tries, and keeps trying, to speak sense where sense is lacking. Thank you as always Douglas. We keep relying on you to speak and reason.

But he’s the only one who has the ability and knowledge skills to say the truth about Israel and defend to what he believes is have to be protected.For that I appreciate how he saying the truth about war .And only one who do that .At list we have the person who is not Jew and has the seem ability of knowledge to understand who is right or wrong . In mine life I glad to see at least the only person who is not Jew and make me be very proud of humanity that they have him .
