I think with the emergence of Norman Powell scoring, Kawhi should take a backseat to being the 3rd option on the team at least for the regular season, so he wouldn’t have to exert so much energy before the playoffs kind of what Jimmy Butler does

Clippers would need to get at least 3rd seed and Lakers would need to make the playoffs in 6th. There is really no other way for that, and lets face it, it is not going to happen. Clippers happy to make the playoffs in 5th, 6th seed while being cautious with Kawhi while Lakers will be lucky to survive the play-in

I think Lonzo would be a better fit than kuzma, he can take some of the playmaking duties away from Harden and replace KPJ who if his shot isn’t falling just hurts the team, but I understand why teams are hesitant to trade for him with his injury history, but theatrically speaking he’d be perfect

They got plenty of Kuzmas on that team. But no one is capable of bringing that ball past half court other than Harden, let alone facilitate at a decent level. Zubac needs some backup too, and Bamba aint it and Ty Lue doesnt like Kai Jones for some reason. I can totally see them picking up DLo on the buy out, or trade for a Sexton, Rozier or/and a Poeltl, Valanciunas type of player.

How likely is it he plays like ten games for the rest of the season, and then he’s guaranteed to not play in the playoffs if they make it. I love kawhi but this has zero impact on the nba

Can't get excited about Leonard, and you cannot possibly get excited about Harden performing in the playoffs. Good laugh. Leonard left his best in San Antonio, but won a ring after all three star in Golden State fell to injury in the Finals.
