THE WESTFJORDS WAY

The Westfjords Way film is here!
A route dedicated to all those that have explored this unique part of the world via bicycle. Last September we biked the route and this summer we are launching the first ever Westfjords Way Challenge - a five day Ultra Endurance Stage race around some of Iceland's most remote and pristine wilderness. From June 28- July 3, riders will race a total of 930Km under endless sunlight through never ending fjords, world class gravel, and multiple hot springs.
The race, organized by @cyclingwestfjords, will have BIPOC scholarships available. For details and registration for this self supported race please follow @cyclingwestfjords on Instagram for updates and to reserve your spot.

I feel you. I’ve been to Iceland many times, except the cold, rainy days, unstable weather, the wind is actually the main concern. But, you have to deal with it, or not having the joy to dance with the weather conditions 😆🤗

The Westfjörds, specifically Ísafjörður/Súðavík, is my favorite place in the whole wide world. If you’ve been to Iceland that many times (50) I’d say they can officially call you the Cycling Viking, you’ve earned that title! 🇮🇸 🚴
