The Westin New York at Times Square - Hotel Tour And Review 4K

We have just got back from 5 nights at this amazing hotel nothing was to much trouble for them, check in was very quick we were offered a room with a view of the Hudson or the city we picked the Hudson and wow what a room with a view we had. The room was large and everything you could need we had two double beds, there is tea/coffee machine ,iron and ironing board, the bathroom had lots of toiletries and a good hair dryer. The mini bar was out of order so we asked reception if we could use the fridge to keep bottles of water cold and they said not possible but then they put a fridge in our room within the hour for no extra charge. You get bottles of water daily and tea and coffee topped up daily and house keeping everyday. We ate at the foundry for breakfast on the first morning it was buffet style very good but at 38 dollars each, quite expensive and there are so many places to eat around the area. We asked if we could have a late check out as we were not flying till 9pm they let us keep our room on till 4pm no extra charge. This hotel is perfectly situated, there is a target round the corner on 42nd Street so you can get groceries there lots of good places to eat too, we ate at Applebees three times the food and service is really good also The Dallas bbq was great also and you can get the subway from there too. The hotel staff were very friendly they will also get you a cab for the airport if you need one will definitely return to The Westin can not recommend this hotel enough.

I stayed at the Westin in Raleigh,NC way better than the New York. It has a glass enclosed shower with the rain shower head,Italian-inspired restaurant,a beautiful rooftop desk and a pool it’s small.

I've stayed here as well. Had a lovely room. Had I not broken my foot during this trip, it would have been a fantastic weekend ;-)

Question: Is there any security at night? What procedures do they follow? I want safety above all and idk if this hotel being in the middle of a lot of commotion will be secure 😅

I stayed there December of 2021, and can reassure you that the property is very safe and secure. There are always staff members at street level monitoring the doors and access to the lobby. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a hotel in NYC. Wonderful people in a great location.

I don’t recommend it, I had my belongings stolen in this hotel, I reported it to managers and they did nothing about it.
