Nice review, but it is not leather over board. It is vinyl. For the money, if one is only going to use this as a desk reference bible (my purpose), I see no reason to pay 2-3X as much for a leather cover.

I actually like the hardcover better.

@@Pastor-BrettbyfaithI tend to like hardcovers better at home, as well. I ordered the large print hardcover edition today. I am transitioning away from study bibles, and more toward text-only bibles, using digital sources for background studies, concordance, dictionary, maps, commentary, and etc. I have several study bibles that I have never even scanned. The Westminster should be great for the cross-references, alone...or at least that is my plan!

@johnsherman1296 The Westminster is a beast! 200K cross references makes it one of the best study bibles I have ever used. For me, a good KJV reference bible with a Strongs Concordance is all you will need to be a scholar in no time at all.

@@Pastor-Brettbyfaith I agree, brother. It took me many years and a deep rabbit hole with many different "study bibles" to come to that exact same conclusion!😅

@@johnsherman1296 I hope you stick around. I will have Dr. Mark Ward on my program tomorrow evening, 6 pm EST. We will be discussing KJVOism and why he feels the need to update the KJV. I will be defending the text of the KJV. It will be a good evening.
