"A simple song that is hard to do well"...sounds like every Jerry song I've ever tried to learn!

Haha, yes, though a song like Dire wolf or Friend of the Devil sounds like itself even in its simplest form

Clif, your lessons are always on point! Question, other than Tiger replica.. what effects are you using to nail that Jerry tone?
@vedantus4 жыл бұрын
zero effects in this case, straight from guitar into FYD jerry amp

What kind of Tiger replica is that? It sounds and looks amazing.
@vedantus4 жыл бұрын
Phiga guitars in Texas, Phil gawen. It truly is amazing, all the specs of jerry's guitar, the pickups, the electronics and even the cocobolo wood.

Scale-wise, are the leads in Cmaj/ionian (or Cmaj pentatonic)? How does the Bb fit in, or not to worry since the leads are over G and D, or C and F chords anyway. Thanks! Nice vid. Also,
@vedantus4 жыл бұрын
I never think of a song as being in a key, rather that as I move through chords I am in microunivreses where that chord offers possibilities over it
