I have the answer to the whisperer question. It will throw the freeze attack unless under a certain hp threshold. I can’t remember what the first two are but for the last special attack it won’t freeze you if it’s under 100hp.

I don't have the exact precise numbers but I did 500kc at whisperer so I have the gist of the freeze mechanic. If you go like 10% beyond where his special attack is set to start before his special finishes, he will not be frozen. Shadow can proc this pretty easily if you can get a max hit when really close to his next special attack percentage. IE his special starts at 80% and you drop him down to 70% before the special ends then he just doesn't get frozen.

You have to meet a damage threshold before the special for it to require freezing. If you don't deal enough damage before the special, it won't come at you.

9:00 its to do with how much damage you did to the boss. if the boss transitions phases and you hit it hard enough during that transition, the boss will skip the bind and instantly attack you

Didn’t get my first Bella until after 900 kc, well done! I got pet just after 1k. Also, it’s an instance, anything you drop won’t disappear. Next time drop a few restores so the skirts don’t disappear! Pick up the restores as you go.

The whisperer does not freeze you after a special if you've hit a certain damage threshold. The most obvious is 100hp for the third one.
