I am from the North East of England (Newcastle) where makina has been massive for about 20 year plus. Nothing new was really coming to the scene and a lot of our clubs were getting shut down so I got introduced to the hardcore scene by a friend who plays events all over Europe and has a big foothold with the harder styles with his online radio station. I was Introduced to frenchcore, mainstream gabba, industrial and terror. I have followed these guys for about 7 year after discovering them on soundcloud and it was and still is so refreshing to hear them mash Makina melodys with frenchcore baselines and kicks and harder still..... Its an original sound in my opinion, never sticking to one style....The whistler's made there UK debut a few months back in my home town of Newcastle and sold it out. I couldn't make it.... Was gutted then and even more so after seeing this set.
