Beautifully read. Most pleasing to hear ones tales recounted thusly. My hearty thanks for elaborating so fond yet terrifying a memory.... That room....that...whistling... >shudder< A tankard of her favourite beverage upon our crossing of paths to the lady owner of this wonderful voice. >doffs cap< Now....out with you...

That's... quite a beautiful voice narrating, to be honest.

Pay no mind to the tactless uncouth naves such as "mrchapin". Your voice is quite pleasing. Some people just aren't capable of proper appreciation, or even manners for that matter. That's on him. Your voice is lovely. Don't change a thing.

Jeff Baker Whilst I agree with you about Morgan's voice, I have to say mjrchapin was at least polite and courteous in his/her post, unlike some replies I've seen to some of the other stories. Morgan Scorpion, thank you for another very good reading, but what concerns me is that you seem to have been perusing my bookshelves as you keep coming up with stories from some of my favourite books!

Google "gaslight" plus "etext" plus "Carnacki". Sadly KZbin won't let me post the link to it here.

You get ghouls in the basement and bats in the belfry. And I saw a tentacle slither up from the swimming pool. Will chlorine get rid of Cthulhu?...

Thankyou mjrchapin. The "r" problem is one that I've had since childhood. My tongue just won't go into the correct position. "Whistling womb" huh? Oops!
@jennifermcdonald54324 жыл бұрын
Morgan Scorpion your narration is beautiful, lovely to listen to. If you ever doubt your skill, just listen to some of the other channels reading scary stories, and you will be reassured. Yes your “r” problem is there but an extremely slight worry compared to many of the atrocious narrators elsewhere

Wonderful reading. I discovered you on LibriVox, I believe and you are one of my favorite readers.

I rather enjoyed the pronunciation, adds some realism as if the story were actually being told from an eyewitness rather than just read from a book.

Please don’t let anyone’s shitposts about your excellent narration and curation of these wonderful tales affect you in the least. They can eat a bag of dicks.

I really like your "r's" We have a gross surplus of hard "ARR's" over here, and it would be a shame to see the more subtle English variety pushed aside.

What does he mean by " he closed the windows with hair, it is the same human hair? and how it means logically to close with hairs? Thx ♥️
@MorganScorpion Жыл бұрын
Hi. You glue a single hair over the window's edge where it meets the frame. If anyone opens the window, the hair will break or come unstuck, and that way you can tell if anyone has opened the window.
@mariamnajjar6653 Жыл бұрын
@@MorganScorpion thx, for answering. So, all the words " hair" in this story means human hair, not wire or something like that,right? thx in advance♥️
@MorganScorpion Жыл бұрын
@@mariamnajjar6653 Yes, human hair.

I have to confess that, initially, l thought that your voice and delivery were inappropriate, somehow. I suppose that l'm used to a more fruity, male voice. But after about ten minutes or so, you had won me over and l viewed my earlier misgivings with something approaching shame. 😊 Yep; subbed.

“A more fruity male…” about sums up what’s happened to the West, don’t it now.

I thought that timbre of the reader's voice was not right for the narrative.
