❤ wow! This is new: the lower level East Wing rooms typically have just had a rope across the entrance door! NEVER have people been able to walk into the library, china room, etc. AND the Diplomatic Room!? Wow!

The Gold Star Tree in the centre is made of 6 stacked stars (like oversized stacked golden pancakes) representing the 6 branches of the military. The 4 accompanying trees show names of the fallen service members written on gold star ornaments I believe it’s perhaps 9 per tree? Thank you & your family for your sacrifice & for carrying forward the legacy of your child.
