Very nice little campsite. We like walking the canal towpaths. We visited Shugbourgh Hall a couple of years ago. Really enjoyed it. What a lovely farm shop. Lots of tempting goodies in there 😃🚐👍🏻💙 Trev n Sue

Hi, great vlog, we only live 25 minutes from this lovely campsite and have stopped there on several occasions in our Motorhome, even though it’s so close to home it’s so beautiful and still feels like you are away miles from home. Such friendly owners as well . We love it there 🥰 On occasions there are canal barge boat shops which add to all the attractions of the location you have already highlighted.

Lovely video as usual .... we rented a narrow boat on the Mon and Brec canal in Wales a few years ago, and loved it. So peaceful, beautiful walks and scenery along the canal path, some nice pub stops. Old clothes only though...I spent a lot of time using the long pole thing to push us off the bank...a mucky business 🤣 and running about to crank the lock handle things too..the 'driver' knew how to stay clean and wouldn't share the steering wheel 😂 Sue, Nick and Floydy

Thank you - very interesting ref old clothes needed - hadn’t considered that at all - it does look like there would be a nack to things and it would take some time to get the hang of it. Suppose there’s quite a bit with vans that you get the nack of too over time. Sounds like the driver has the best job 😀 one to note! All the very best, David & Rachel 👍

Hi David and Rachel hope you are both well and Roxy of course know great Haywood very well and the chase which isn’t that far from us so we visit often and shugborough is one of our favourite places It’s well worth making a short drive to chase water Roxy would love the lake and there’s a little train which goes round also the forestry commission at Rugeley as well some lovely walks and an excellent cafe as well looks like you had a wonderful time and weather! I am catching up we had a lovely fortnight in Cornwall back home and to work now all the best to you both Daniel

Cornwall was great we had a lovely time in Looe lovely to spend time with Victoria and the boys and see them enjoy the beach and have quality time as a family we had a couple of wet days but that’s Cornwall 🤣🤣 I well recommend chasewater and rugeley forest and also if you go Lichfield and Tamworth are both worth seeing for different reasons all the best to you both Daniel

ohh that pitch was Deer 😂. Nice looking site with natty facilities. Thought that looked like the Essex bridge at the back of Shugborough - a really nice place, a few years since we went. The cafe was nice there too. The farm shop and cafe looked a nice place

Cracking vlog guys, i love Shugborough, all NT prooerties are nice i especially enjoy the gardens. We hired a narrowboat a few years ago on the lancaster canal,no locks so great for a 1st timer like us, it was a great holiday i keep asking hubby if we can do it again it was smazing, we used a company called Duck Island boats near garstang beautiful boats, take a look xx

We hired Glissando shes not too long shes a beauty, only sleeps 2, you could hire one of the others and maybe take another couple with you. Give it a try its brilliant great scenery and wildlife. I would like to do the norfolk broads but i think it gets too busy in summer, im deffinitley going to do it again xx

Wow, I wished I’d asked you where you were going after Rob and Lynns Rally. We could have met up as I live only 10 mins away in Stafford. I’ve always loved Shugborough and my children have been there so many times. They always loved the farm which had a play area when they were little. I believe this has now gone. We have cycled to the farm shop on the canal towpath. It’s a bit bumpy but so peaceful. This was a great Vlog and lovely to hear you liked the area. Take care Gill

I only live about 10 miles away from Great Heywood and are regulars at the Farm Shop and Shugborough Hall. I have motorhome and was not aware of such a lovely site

Hi David and Beverley - ours was registered as a Motorcaravan (M1) from new but have heard of other folks having the same issue with DVLA - from what I understand it’s worth appealing and sending pictures of everything on the checklist of requirements unless they have provided a reason for not giving it the motor caravan classification? - hope you get it sorted out to what you need. Oh really? We never knew that! It was very tidy, especially the bit we went in. If I look back I wonder if the permanent campers were in the sections further back? Even then it was still tidy. Great location- loved the canal and farm shop 💗 Thank you for your comment 💗 Rachel & David 💗
